Naomi explains hiatus from WWE: 'Minor procedure'

The Funkadactyls exploded back at the Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) on July 20 in Tampa when Cameron defeated Naomi by pinfall after grabbing a hand full of tights. Later, Naomi would return the favor, albeit in a tag team match, when she submitted Cameron on Raw.

Then, shortly thereafter, they both just sort of disappeared.

While Cameron's absence remains a mystery, Naomi cleared up the reasoning behind her hiatus:

To my fans-I had to have a minor procedure done to correct a problem from the orbital fracture, I'll be back with a whole new feel #SLAYOMI

Here's to hoping she comes back better than ever. Also, here's to hoping "SLAYOMI" never catches on with anyone at WWE and Michael Cole isn't allowed to beat it into the ground during television.
