In our Rumor Roundup today, good old Randall Ortman passed along word that the Wrestling Observer had reported that despite Sting being revealed as the pre-order bonus in the WWE 2K15 video game, and despite all the teasing from WWE on his doing so, the Stinger had yet to officially sign on the dotted line.
Now, TMZ has confirmed the news with the man himself.
The report states that the two have a business relationship together now because of the video game but haven't yet come to terms on a deal that would see Sting doing any actual wrestling.
But, again, he really wants to.
And, again, he really wants that match to be with Undertaker at WrestleMania 31.
There are obstacles, of course, not least of which the fact that Sting hasn't actually signed his contract yet. Undertaker may be retired after losing his streak at WrestleMania 30 to Brock Lesnar and suffering myriad injuries in the process, including a severe concussion.
That said, even Vince McMahon is getting in on the "Sting in WWE" fun:

Can we make this official already?
