WWE currently has half its crew touring in Japan right now, including the likes of Hulk Hogan, and is expected to make an announcement on the signing of Kenta later on this evening. Before any of all that, though, disaster struck when a 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit just off the coast not far from hotels where many of the wrestlers are staying.
Because of the earthquake the Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami warning.
A few wrestlers took to Twitter to detail the experience they had with it:
Wow what a crazy morning 4:22 am an earthquake made my bed roll around the room,I thought Andre was trying to wake me WWE style brother. HH

Earthquake tremors make the best alarm clocks! Tokyo Dome hotel is swaying pretty good right about now! #Tokyo

I feel like that whole experience would have been a lot better if the iPhone warning alarm wasn't going off & if the building wasn't moving.

My first earthquake was like rocking back & forth in the arms of a compliant street woman. #Soothing #WWETokyo

We hope everyone in Japan stays safe, non-wrestlers and wrestlers alike.
