The Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Los Angeles Kings by a final score of 4-3 in tonight's (Fri., May 30, 2014) Western Conference Final in the NHL Playoffs. That means the series will shift back to the "Windy City" for a Game 7 this Sunday night at the United Center.
This is relevant in this space because WWE will be running its Payback pay-per-view (PPV) that very same night at the Allstate Arena roughly 18 miles away at the exact same time.
You know exactly where CM Punk will be:

The good news? That kills dead any rumors of a return to WWE at this show, though there weren't many to begin with, at least not from any relevant source.
With that said, WWE surely can't be happy that it will have to compete for space in a city with the defending Stanley Cup Champions looking to earn a trip back to the Finals to face the New York Rangers in what would be a very big deal in the sports world.
Payback was already a lackluster show on a national level. Now it's going to be overshadowed locally as well.
Some fans are already unhappy about this:
@cagesideseats As someone with Payback tickets, i'm a bit angry myself. So it goes though

So it goes indeed.
