Scott Hall checks into the hospital for undisclosed reason

Earlier this week, my colleague Keith Harris brought word that Scott Hall had suffered a personal setback and no-showed Big Time Wrestling's Wrestlefest convention, pulling out at the last minute because he refused to get out of bed. He sent a text to the promoter of the event saying he was in a dark place.

Sadly, it appears as though Hall had relapsed and fell off the wagon in his continuing battle with drug and alcohol addiction. Diamond Dallas Page and Jake Roberts, for as much as they've done to help him, could not assist on this particular issue, as Keith noted in his article.

Hall, for his part, apologized publicly but blamed "medical problems".

Now, nearly a week later, Hall has taken to Twitter to reveal he's checked himself into the hospital:

This turn of events is incredibly sad, especially considering it certainly appeared as though Hall had turned his life around over the past year or so, leading to his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame just last month in New Orleans.

We at Cageside Seats continue to wish Scott Hall all the best in his ongoing battle with his demons.
