Brock Lesnar WWE return date set? Champ could be back for Slammy Awards 2014

Generally speaking, it's best to take advertisements released months ahead of time with a pinch of salt. "Card subject to change", after all, even if it's not exactly a best practice to routinely advertise a wrestler and/or match and fail to deliver on said wrestler and/or match.

All that said, it's worth passing along when information like this comes down the pipeline.

Indeed, it's now being advertised that this year's Slammy Awards episode of Monday Night Raw will take place on Dec. 8, 2014, at the Bons Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. Not only that, but current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is scheduled for the show.

Again, if we can trust this advertising.

This is interesting to note, however, because if Brock is appearing on the show, that would hint at the possibility that there may be a plan in place to have him work the TLC pay-per-view (PPV), which will take place just six days later. That's not set in stone, of course, and this could be a case of early advertising being off as has happened in the past, but Lesnar is the WWE world heavyweight champion and getting him back on television sooner rather than later is an obvious necessity.
