Batista rumored to play villain in next James Bond movie

Early this morning, rumors started circulating that Dave Bautista had been cast as the villain in the next James Bond movie, including Latino-Review.com outright reporting that the deal is done though no official announcement has been made.

Later, WWE.com got in on the action:

Unconfirmed reports indicate that The Animal is in negotiations to star as the villain Hinx opposite Daniel Craig's 007 in the next installment of the legendary franchise. According to casting reports, the producers were looking for a physically imposing male with a unique look and a sports background - a description that fits Batista perfectly.

As stated, the reports and rumors are unconfirmed at this time but where there's smoke there's usually fire.

Bautista, who wrestles under the name Batista, became a hot Hollywood commodity thanks to his turn as Drax the Destroyer in the blockbuster box office hit Guardians of the Galaxy. Because of that, his future with WWE is uncertain, though rumors have indicated he could return next year for a run up to WrestleMania to finish up his pro wrestling career to continue pursuing roles like the one he's rumored for here.

Stay tuned.
