WWE has now revealed that it will roll out its digital online subscription service on Feb. 24, 2014, after Monday Night Raw that evening at roughly 11:05 p.m. ET. That's 46 days away from fans having the ability to watch a ton of great pro wrestling content.
So let's go ahead and list off the shows scheduled to air on the Network once it launches.
First, all 12 pay-per-views (PPV) will be available:
- Royal Rumble
- Elimination Chamber
- WrestleMania
- Extreme Rules
- Payback
- Money in the Bank
- SummerSlam
- Night of Champions
- Battleground
- TLC
- Hell in a Cell
- Survivor Series
Those are the 12 live PPV events that air once a month throughout the year. You will also be able to watch every PPV ever held by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and any past WWE PPV event. Yes, all of them.
Then, there are original series currently planned including:
- WWE Countdown
- The Monday Night War
- WrestleMania Rewind
- Legends House
Beyond that, there will be replays of Monday Night Raw, Main Event, and Friday Night SmackDown, though if they will be replayed in full or in edited versions like on Hulu is still unclear. In addition, both NXT and Superstars will make their own on the Network.
There will also be pre- and post-shows for Raw, SmackDown, and PPV events.
At some point, a live studio show will be produced that will likely look something like Sportscenter on ESPN.
And that's just the start, Cagesiders. Surely there will be more added as the Network picks up steam. Imagine something along the lines of YouTube shows like "Behind the Match" and "Backstage Fallout" getting picked up and expanded on.
