With the past two episodes of Total Divas, the reality show on the E! channel focusing on the personal and professional lives of seven women who work for WWE, having faced stiff competition from both SummerSlam and the MTV Video Music Awards, it was expected this past Sunday night's show would see a bit of a bounce back in the ratings.
And that's precisely what happened.
Indeed, episode six, which featured Brie Bella going into "Brie Mode", among other things, scored 1.52 million viewers. That's up from 1.46 million from last week's show that went against the VMA's and 1.34 million the week before that went against SummerSlam.
Here are the numbers for each show to date:
Episode one: 1.34 million
Episode two: 1.53 million
Episode three: 1.67 million
Episode four: 1.34 million
Episode five: 1.46 million
Episode six: 1.52 million
At least in this instance, the delayed launch of the WWE Network was a good thing. Otherwise, this show may not have ended up on the E! channel getting the consistent audience it's been receiving on a weekly basis. The strong lead-in from the Kardashian clan helps, but this show appears to be a viable entity all its own.
How many Cagesiders do we have who are still tuning in?
