Monday Night Raw this week featured the announcement of the seven participants in the WWE championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match scheduled for the pay-per-view (PPV) of the same name this coming July 14, 2013, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

All seven wrestlers are former champions and the winner will earn the red briefcase, representing the Raw brand, and the right to challenge for the WWE championship at any time of his choosing over the next year. The star power in this match is undeniable.

The same cannot be said for the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match that was announced at the SmackDown tapings just last night in Columbia, South Carolina. Obviously there are spoilers here, so if you made it this far and still don't want to find out this information until the show airs on SyFy on Friday, click away.

Still with us? Great.

Here are the seven wrestlers who will compete for the blue briefcase, representing the SmackDown brand, and the right to challenge for the world heavyweight championship at any time of their choosing over the next year:

  1. Dean Ambrose
  2. Jack Swagger
  3. Wade Barrett
  4. Antonio Cesaro
  5. Fandango
  6. Cody Rhodes
  7. Damien Sandow

That's a stunning list, if only because each and every one of these wrestlers is working as a heel right now. It's also notable that on the same day Swagger was found guilty of DUI and sentenced to probation, he was placed in this match.

That said, there's plenty to be excited about here. With the exception of Swagger and Barrett, any winner would make for an interesting future title challenger. In fact, the segment announcing the line-up included Teddy Long telling Vince McMahon this match is about "up-and-comers" as opposed to bigger named stars.

Get excited!

Here's the updated Money in the Bank match card and line-up:

- WWE title Money in the Bank ladder match (Punk vs. Bryan vs. Orton vs. Kane vs. Sheamus vs. Christian vs. RVD)
- World title Money in the Bank ladder match (Ambrose vs. Swagger vs. Barrett vs. Cesaro vs. Fandango vs. Rhodes vs. Sandow)
