The WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony for the 2013 class of inductees, including Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Trish Stratus, Booker T, Donald Trump, and Mick Foley, airs TONIGHT (April 9) in a special highlight package on the USA Network starting at 10 p.m. ET.
The show was originally scheduled to run one hour but was given an extra 15 minutes to accommodate as many induction speeches as possible.
It's a good thing, too, because wackiness was the norm throughout the ceremony, which took place this past Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in New York. Foley's induction speech was memorable for an incident on stage where he got to drop an elbow on Chris Jericho and CM Punk counted a pinfall before throwing up the dreaded "X" sign.
Expect that to make the broadcast, complete with a huge pop from the crowd.
Stratus played comedian before announcing her pregnancy, Maria Menounos was booed for going too long before introducing Backlund, who apparently went insane up on stage and had to be dragged to the back by Vince McMahon. Speaking of Vinny Mac, he was challenged to a fight at WrestleMania 30 by the man he inducted, Trump.
Like I said, it was a wacky night, and you can watch it go down tonight at 10 p.m. ET. Come right back here to chat with all your favorite Cagesiders during the show.
