Donald Trump challenges Vince McMahon to a match at WrestleMania 30

We know Vince McMahon likes to set up his WrestleMania main event matches well in advance. Is it possible we've got the main event for next year in McMahon vs. Donald Trump?

Could it be? Could it really be? Is it possible that WWE Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon will occupy one of the main event slots at WrestleMania 30 -- or XXX, if we're using the Roman Numerals -- at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sun., April 6, 2014?

And could it be against the one and only Donald Trump?

"The Donald" made the challenge during his acceptance speech at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony at Madison Square Garden last night in New York, saying of Vince he would "kick his ass" after all the years he's tried to break the pay-per-view (PPV) buyrate record the two set at WrestleMania 23.

Playful, of course, but the two did help set that record and made boatloads of money in the process. So will Vince do it again?

He was asked in an interview and had this much to say:

"Um, I don't know. I'm 67. Donald's (cough) 60-whatever. I have no idea. But, it will be interesting."

That's not a confirmation but it's also not a denial and his age has never stopped him from working hard matches before. In fact, he had a hardcore match with CM Punk late last year and got physical in the ring this year just a couple weeks after hip surgery.

The man is insane; maybe insane enough to promote another McMahon vs. Trump match but this time, they cut out the wrestlers and actually get in the ring and bump themselves.

That's an ugly thought but one that would make a lot of money, no?
