"The World's Strongest Man" made his return to WWE on Monday Night Raw this week and was quickly placed in a match against Randy Orton for the right to earn a spot in the Chamber match on Friday Night SmackDown last night in Jacksonville.
Naturally, he won. WWE.com with the preview:
On Feb. 17, the steel chain, grates and cage walls that constitute the dreaded Elimination Chamber may just play home to Mark Henry's Hall of Pain.
With a victory over Randy Orton on the Feb. 8 edition of SmackDown, the returning World's Strongest Man qualified to join five other former World Heavyweight Champions - including WWE's Apex Predator - inside the torturous battleground in a match that will determine the No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 29. Also confirmed for the bout are Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio, leaving two spots open for former World Heavyweight Champions yet to be named by SmackDown General Manager Booker T.
There are only two shows remaining until the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on Feb. 17 in New Orleans. Who else is getting in, Cagesiders?
Here is the updated Elimination Chamber line up:
- The Rock vs. CM Punk
- Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show
