WWE Elimination Chamber 2013 free live streaming pre-show features Rhodes Scholars vs Brodus Clay and Tensai

"Reunited and it feels so good."

Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes may have just announced their split as a tag team but the Rhodes Scholars are back in action together this Sunday night (Feb. 17, 2013) at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana, on the free live streaming pre-show against Brodus Clay and Tensai.

The announcement was made on WWE.com, with the following explanation given for the quick reunion:

Go ahead and call it a reunion tour. Chalk it up to old habits dying hard, if you must. Whatever the case may be, the Team Rhodes Scholars duo of Damien Sandow & Cody Rhodes has agreed to team again, for one night only, against the newly formed unit of Brodus Clay & Tensai on the free Elimination Chamber Pre-Show this Sunday. The Pre-Show will stream live on WWE.com, YouTube.com/WWE and Facebook.com/WWE starting at 7:30 ET/4:30 PT.

The freshly announced tag team match represents Sandow & Rhodes' first time partnering with each other since their amicable split. It was on the blue brand that The Intellectual Savior of the Masses and "The Essence of Mustachioed Magnificence," in an emotional exchange, declared their intentions of pursuing singles competition at the expense of their partnership. Though Rhodes & Sandow still appear intent on moving up the ranks of WWE individually, they have nonetheless signed on to compete in the Pre-Show.

That's a cute way of saying there really wasn't any better option and because WWE doesn't really know what to do with Sandow, Rhodes, Clay, and Tensai as singles competitors, why not just throw them together and let them mix it up as a tag team. It's lazy but can be effective.

And it's free. Can't complain about that, right?
