WWE announces more Slammy Awards categories, names hosts

Just yesterday, WWE announced the following categories for this year's edition of the Slammy Awards, which will air as part of Monday Night Raw next Mon., Dec. 9, 2013, from the KeyArena in Seattle, Washington, on the USA Network:

- Superstar of the Year
- Extreme Moment of the Year
- Insult of the Year
- Double-Cross of the Year
- This is Awesome! Moment of the Year
- "Total Diva" of the Year
- LOL! Moment of the Year
- Match of the Year

Today, some changes and additions were made. Here's the updated list of categories, courtesy of WWE.com:

- Superstar of the Year
- Match of the Year
- Diva of the Year
- Insult of the Year
- Double-Cross of the Year
- "LOL!" Moment of the Year
- "This Is Awesome" Moment of the Year
- Extreme Moment of the Year
- Trending Now (Hashtag) of the Year
- Beard of the Year
- Fan Participation of the Year
- Breakout Star of the Year

Notable here is the fact that "Total Diva of the Year" was dropped in favor of simply "Diva of the Year". Good for them.

It was also announced that Jerry "The King" Lawler and Booker T will act as hosts for the show. That's in addition to the big names who will be returning as special guest presenters (see who by clicking here).
