Big stars returning to WWE on Raw next week (Dec. 9) for Slammy Awards

WWE will present the Slammy Awards for next week's episode of Monday Night Raw, though there are far better things to focus on, like the fact that it's the go home show to the upcoming TLC pay-per-view (PPV) on Dec. 15 in Houston, Texas.

No matter.

The Slammy Awards do, however, present a perfect opportunity to bring back a few old legends from days gone by, much like last year's show featured the return of Ric Flair for a great segment with CM Punk, although that eventually turned into "The Nature Boy" passing down the Figure Four leglock to The Miz.

But I digress.

For this year, WWE has confirmed at least four big returns. They are:

- Bret Hart
- Shawn Michaels
- Eve Torres
- Christian

They'll all be acting as presenters throughout the evening. Hart will give out the "Match of the Year" award, Michaels will give out the "Superstar of the Year" award, Eve will give out the "Total Diva of the Year" award, and Christian will give out the "This is Awesome Moment of the Year" award.

Fitting choices for all.

Christian, for what it's worth, had been rumored to be returning to ring action this month, so this could be a planned angle to bring him back to actually working matches again.
