Tyson Kidd suffers knee injury that will keep him out of action for up to 10-12 months

Tyson Kidd has suffered a devastating knee injury during a WWE house show and he'll be out of action for up to 10-12 months.

WWE Champion CM Punk may have shouted out Tyson Kidd for being a "workhorse" on Monday Night Raw earlier this week in Tampa but he won't be doing any work for nearly a year thanks to an injury he suffered on a recent house show.

According to the folks at PWInsider, Kidd blew out his knee and will be out of action for up to 10-12 months:

We're still working on details of exactly when this happened but Kidd suffered a fractured knee and a torn ACL over the holiday house show loop. I am told he actually worked on the injury after he suffered it and worked the next night of the tour as well, so he's one tough, insane SOB.

Working on a knee like that is most definitely insane but that's a pay day he likely didn't want to miss. Sadly, it means he won't be teaming up with Justin Gabriel as one half of International Airstrike anytime soon.

And Punk's shout out is all for naught.

We'll keep you updated on Kidd's recovery as it happens.
