Both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown this coming week have been taped and that means spoilers are readily available for viewing. We've had big news coming out of both shows, too, as Wade Barrett won the Intercontinental title from Kofi Kingston on Raw and now we've got announcements for three superstars who have declared they are entering the Royal Rumble match.
And they're three of the biggest names on the roster.
John Cena declared he's in on Raw, which airs later tonight (Dec. 31) from Washington D.C., while both Randy Orton and Sheamus declared they're in on SmackDown, which airs this coming Friday night from Richmond, Virginia.
Orton and Sheamus, for their part, also teased a pending feud with a staredown, so the rumors of their working together in the near future could be coming to fruition.
With this kind of star power in the Rumble and multiple scenarios that justify a victory for each one of them, things are looking good for this year's match just yet.
The Royal Rumble event takes place on Sun., Jan. 27, 2013, and is expected to be headlined by The Rock challenging CM Punk for the WWE championship.
