List of WWE Hall of Fame 2013 possibilities includes Mick Foley, The Rock

WWE has already started selling tickets for its 2013 Hall of Fame ceremony in April the night before WrestleMania in New York but not a single inductee has been named. Here is the current list of possibilities.

WWE's pre-sale for tickets to its Hall of Fame ceremony the night before WrestleMania 29 in New York on April 6, 2013, got underway yesterday but not a single member of the upcoming class has been announced yet.

That will change as we get closer and closer to showtime, of course, but who is even being considered? In the latest edition of Figure Four Weekly, Bryan Alvarez offered a few possible names being kicked around, almost all of which have a clear connection to Madison Square Garden and/or New York.

  • Mick Foley: According to Alvarez, he "appears to be a lock" and makes a lot of sense from a logistical standpoint and he would be a legitimate headliner for the entire class, though it's possible he's not going to be.
  • The Rock: He'll be wrestling at WrestleMania 29 in the main event, so he could work. He made his big debut in the WWF in 1997 at the Garden and had various important life moments happen there, as he detailed in one of his return promos.
  • Bruno Sammartino: It's all but guaranteed this won't happen but Triple H apparently really, really wants it to and he's trying hard to put it together. If it did, he should be the headliner, considering no one ever drew bigger in New York than Bruno.
  • The Nasty Boys: The New York gimmick helps but this just seems ridiculous.
  • Harlem Heat: This would be much better, especially with Booker T under contract and still actively working as an on-screen character.
  • Owen Hart: Not unlike Sammartino, they want to put Hart in but there are outside factors making that difficult. His family would likely not be on board and WWE doesn't need to attempt something that could go south really quickly.
  • Brooklyn Brawler: Maybe that's why he was on TV again recently?

Who do you think should be going in, Cagesiders?
