Undertaker in a tag team match at WrestleMania 29?

Well here's an interesting scenario that hasn't been beaten into the ground yet. What if Undertaker actually competed at WrestleMania 29 in a tag team match?

The "Road to WrestleMania" has unofficially begun now that the final pay-per-view (PPV) event before the Royal Rumble is in the books and that means the speculation over Undertaker's next opponent at WrestleMania 29 is kicking into overdrive. Triple H teased the WWE fan base with the promise we haven't seen the last of "The Deadman" just yet and the rumor mill is churning.

Most proposals have 'Taker taking on CM Punk, seeing as those two are likely the biggest stars left after The Rock is booked to take on John Cena and Triple H battles a returning Brock Lesnar. None of that is set in stone, but it looks likely for right now.

One interesting idea being floated by James Caldwell over at PWTorch, however, caught my eye. He thinks WWE should put Undertaker in a tag team match.

The Undertaker & Ryback vs. The Shield. Accomplishes: The Streak in jeopardy against red-hot Shield, plants seed of doubt that Streak could be broken since no one believes Taker will lose a singles match, Ryback in huge spotlight match helping protect The Streak, Taker protected from too grueling of a match, Taker saved for huge singles match at WM30, and The Shield rubs elbows with The Establishment and The Future.

That might be the first time I've seen that idea floated around but I'm not sure it would work. On the one hand, Ryback would receive a huge rub for teaming up with Undertaker but WWE likely wouldn't be willing to book that kind of match after all these years of distinctly avoiding it. He's done a handicap match and various gimmick matches at WrestleMania, like Hell in a Cell, but he's never once tagged with anyone.

Unless the planned angle would be for Ryback to make an assist at the end to help keep Undertaker's streak alive and that would be used as storyline fodder for a match between the two at WrestleMania 30, I'm not sure it would work.
