WWE TLC results: Dolph Ziggler wins after AJ Lee turns on John Cena

AJ Lee turned on John Cena in the main event of the WWE TLC pay-per-view (PPV) tonight in Brooklyn, New York, helping Dolph Ziggler climb the ladder to grab his Money in the Bank briefcase and win the match.

Most of you agreed that John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler should be the main event at the WWE TLC pay-per-view (PPV) event that took place tonight (Sun., Dec. 16, 2012) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Well, it was. And it lived up to its billing, with Ziggler bumping all over the place for Cena. At one point, Cena even hit Ziggler with a hurricanrana into a table set up in the corner.

We even got cameo appearances from Vickie Guerrero and AJ Lee, who battled it out in the middle of the ring with the latter easily disposing of the former. Then, unbelievably enough, AJ turned on Cena just as he was about to climb the ladder to grab the briefcase, sending him flying into the ropes.

As he was laid out, Ziggler climbed up to grab his Money in the Bank contract, picking up his first main event PPV win of the year.

With the assistance of AJ or not, this was big for Ziggler. Big Show is still the world heavyweight champion and Ziggler is still the man holding the briefcase that promises a shot at that belt any time he wants it.
