When Wade Barrett returned from injury not long ago, it was expected he would receive a big push, especially considering he was given the full vignette treatment. Up to this evening, that hasn't been the case, as he's floundered on both Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night Raw, respectively.
It didn't change tonight (Sun., Dec. 16, 2012), either.
That's because Kofi Kingston got the pin after a back-and-forth match to retain his Intercontinental championship. There's still plenty of time for the two to continue their feud but it never really had legs to begin with.
Is Barrett much of a threat anymore? Is WWE at fault for not presenting him as more of a credible challenger?
