Ryback believes he can be an even bigger star than John Cena

Here's a crazy thought that some don't think is all that crazy: Ryback replacing John Cena as the biggest star in professional wrestling. That's what "Big Hungry" says his ultimate goal is and he believes he can do it.

FEED HIM MORE.

It turns out The Ryback isn't just hungry for nourishment, he's also hungry for fame and fortune. He's over now, sure, but that's not good enough. He has an ultimate end game in mind and you might be surprised at what he believes he can achieve.

From a recent interview with Digital Spy:

"It's great to talk ahead. I focus on one day at a time, but my goal is to be WWE champion, World Heavyweight Champion. My goal is to not just replace John Cena but blow John Cena out of the water. I'm very vocal about that. I want to beat John in all aspects of this thing - merchandise, fan base - because I believe I can. That's what our company - the WWE needs somebody who's not going to be intimidated, who's not going to be afraid. I'm that guy. We haven't had that. We need somebody. John's not going to be around forever. I have nothing but respect - I think he's one of the hardest-working guys in the history of this company but my goal is to be my best. And I believe my best is better than him. And he knows that too, and there's a friendly rivalry there and I look forward to seeing how I do against him in the coming year."

Had he made these remarks a year ago, we would have thought him insane but as of today, it doesn't seem impossible. Highly unlikely, yes, but not entirely impossible.

Cena is 35-years-old while Ryback just turned 31. Cena's best years are behind him while Ryback's seem to be ahead of him. It seems like a long shot that "Big Hungry" can ascend to the throne as the next number one guy in WWE but speculation has it that Vince McMahon will be choosing one last wrestler as his top superstar before handing over the company to his son-in-law, Triple H, and daughter, Stephanie.

He's high on Ryback, so why not him? Any of you Cagesiders think he possesses the skill-set to grow into the top superstar in the world?
