There was a HOSS FIGHT at Survivor Series tonight (Sun., Nov. 18, 2012) at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, as Big Show and Sheamus squared off once again with the world heavyweight championship on the line.
The match followed the usual big man formula. Show opened strong, wearing out Sheamus before the babyface used his heart to battle back against his much larger foe.
He would periodically hit his high spots with Show selling huge for him on a monster back drop off Sheamus' shoulders coming off the top rope. He did the same for White Noise, a simple move that seems so effective when it's executed on someone like Show.
As Sheamus went to hit his finisher, Show grabbed the referee and pulled him right in front of the Brogue Kick. The ref bumped and Sheamus completely forgot about Show, doing nothing but checking on the referee alongside a few other referees who came down to assist.
It was then that Show stood up and hit the WMD. One of the other referees counted the pin and Show was the winner.
Except he wasn't.
Sheamus was ultimately declared the winner after a brief conference between refs inside the ring. Show losing by disqualification means he gets to keep his title, though.
