WWE Hell in a Cell results and live match coverage TONIGHT (Oct. 28) from Atlanta

WWE is all set to pop off with its Hell in a Cell event tonight (Sun., Oct. 28, 2012) from the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, at 8 p.m. ET, live on pay-per-view (PPV).

Tonight's show will feature a main event pitting CM Punk putting his WWE championship on the line in a Hell in a Cell match -- fancy that -- against The Ryback.

Plus, Sheamus vs. Big Show, The Miz vs. Kofi Kingston, and Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio.

A bunch of irrelevant softballs are pitched. Is Cena endorsing Ryback? Advice for Ryback for tonight's match? All stuff of that fare.

Dolph Ziggler's Tout shown, telling him to man up and tell the truth.

Cena says that if Ziggler wants to say something to him tonight, come on out.

Ziggler's music hits after a while...but Vickie Guerrero shows up.

Guerrero says that Cena is mad because he got his hands caught in the cookie jar. Guerrero says it is a surprise that a man that is so professional...

Ziggler tries a run-in. Cena ducks it and puts Ziggler on his shoulders, but Ziggler gets out and escapes to the outside after being clothesline by Cena.

Josh Mathews with Sheamus.

Nothing of much substance here. Sheamus talks about how ready he is for tonight, despite being an underdog. He says that he will be walking out with the belt tonight and that he has a Brogue Kick with Big Show's name written all over it.

Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio

Match starts.

Orton unloading with strikes. Slams ADR's head in the corner and pummels him down. Orton tosses ADR to the outside.

Action moves outside and a clothesline by Orton to ADR. ADR's head is slammed into the announce table. He is then sent into the ring post.

Action goes back inside and Orton stomping on all limbs of Del Rio. Kicking the arm and gets an uppercut. Stomping a mudhole in the corner. Orton whips ADR into the corner and unloads with right hands. Ref breaks it up and Orton gets back bodydropped to the apron. Orton sent into the post as he is distracted by Ricardo. Armbreaker over the post sends the action outside.

ADR goes outside to work the fallen Orton with strikes, working the arm as well.

Back inside and ADR working an armlock. Orton pushes him into the corner, but ADR turns the tide and goes up top. Orton counters with strikes, but Del Rio turns it into a Cross Armbreaker on the ropes. Five count and it is broken. ADR sends Orton into the post and now working the arm on the ground. Del Rio hits an armbreaker and gets a nearfall.

ADR locks in an armbar on Orton. Orton struggling out, but gets out with a few headbutts. Orton is whipped into the corner, ADR charges, but Orton turns it into a rollup for a nearfall.

ADR turns the tide again with an armbar takedown for a nearfall.

ADR once again working the armlock, but also locking down a crossface to isolate Orton. ADR gets another Cross Armbreaker over the ropes, but Orton drops ADR to the mat.

ADR back inside and Orton landing the clotheslines. He goes for the powerslam, but Del Rio holds the ropes and gets the Cross Armbreaker. Orton moves to the ropes to get the break.

Del Rio charges at Orton, but Orton hits the signature backbreaker. Orton with a nearfall.

ADR on the apron and we know what comes next. Rope-assisted DDT is blocked and Del Rio gets a hotshot on the top rope.

ADR hits the coiled Viper pose as Orton struggles to his feet. He goes for the RKO, but Orton turns him around into the rope-assisted DDT.

ADR downed and Orton is now coiled. RKO attempt is countered by a Back Stabber by ADR that gets a nearfall.

ADR trying to work something, but Orton turns it around and hits his powerslam. He only gets a nearfall out of it.

ADR in the corner and Orton working stomps. Headbutts follow. Orton shoulders Del Rio to the top and lands a right hand. And another. Orton goes up top as well. Del Rio pushes him down and Orton falls with his legs locked between the ropes. Del Rio jumps down onto the chest of Orton, but Orton is able to kick out of the pin.

Del Rio frustrated and stomping Orton. He goes to the top and comes down without any offense. Orton hits a dropkick and wants the RKO. Del Rio counters with the armbreaker attempt and sends Orton to the ropes. Del Rio charges and eats an elbow. Ricardo raps the arm of Orton around the post.

Cross Armbreaker gets locked in. Orton trying to fight out and Orton turns over to stand. ADR's shoulders on the mat and Orton with a nearfall.

Orton tries to recover in the corner, but ADR going for the enzuigiri. Orton ducks under it.

ADR falls into an RKO!

She says that she has photographic evidence of AJ and Cena's affair and invites her to Raw to speak for herself.

Vickie ready to leave and Mathews thanks her.

And Paul Heyman is here, trying to weasel CM Punk out of tonight's main event in the Hell in a Cell match. Vickie says no one can admit anything anymore. AJ can't admit her affair and Punk can't admit he is afraid of Ryback. Heyman says Punk is not afraid of the Boogeyman, Frankenstein, and especially not Ryback.

Heyman says that he just wants Vickie to reconsider, as he has heard she has done a good job.

Vickie looks flattered.

WWE Tag Team Championships: Team Hell No (c) vs. Team Rhodes Scholars

Sandow has the mic and says that there is something everyone can agree upon. Rhodes says that, by the end of the night, Team Rhodes Scholars will be saying that they are the Tag Team Champions.

Bryan and Sandow start.

Lockup and Sandow muscles him in the corner. He attempts a strike, but Bryan counters with the roundhouse kicks to the chest. Hammerlock by Bryan and rope-running predicament leads to a knee to the stomach of Sandow.

Bryan tags in Kane and Sandow immediately rolls over to tag in Rhodes.

Kane tosses Cody into the ring and gets a nearfall. Kane working the strikes and power offense, landing a clothesline in the corner.

Bryan brought back in and Kane whips him to land a flying dropkick for a nearfall on Rhodes.

Bryan working the arm and wrist area of Rhodes. He puts him in the corner and unloads roundhouse kicks to the leg. Bryan locks the arm in an arm wringer and tags in Kane.

Kane with a big boot and bodyslam. Splash by Kane gets him a nearfall.

Rhodes sent into the ropes and Kane with more offense, tossing Rhodes to the mat. Sandow makes a sneak tag.

Sandow with a chop block to the leg of Kane, who is focused on Kane. Sandow working on keeping Kane down on the mat.

Rhodes tagged back in and working Kane in his own corner. Tags Sandow back in.

Sandow with a front headlock and puts Kane in his corner. Rhodes back in.

Rhodes with a dropkick to the knee of Kane and brings Sandow back in.

Sandow works some strikes and decides to go up top. He comes down on a Kane uppercut, who tags in Daniel Bryan.

Bryan working Sandow in the corner with roundhouse kicks to the chest. Sandow whips Bryan into the corner, but he does a backflip and lands a clothesline. Bryan with the roundhouse kicks to the chest. Going for the head kick, but Sandow sends him into Rhodes. Sandow gets thrown to the outside and Bryan lands a suicide dive on him. Rhodes holds Bryan on the apron to create a distraction.

Sandow rolls Bryan back inside for a nearfall after the beatdown. Rhodes in.

Rhodes works some power offense and submissions, but he is unable to pin Bryan, only earning a nearfall as well.

Sandow in and working the strikes on the mat. He hangs Bryan's head over the apron and pummels it with strikes. Knee drop by Sandow earns him a nearfall.

Rhodes brought back in and working the armbar. He tries to isolate Bryan in the corner with strikes, but Bryan with right hands to fight out. Bryan off the ropes, but he eats a knee to the stomach. He gets a nearfall and brings in Sandow.

Sandow in and working stomps, punches, and the kitchen sink. He only gets a nearfall.

Russian legsweep lands and the Elbow of Disdain gets Sandow another nearfall.

Sandow holding Bryan down on the mat with a sleeper hold. Bryan fights out, but Sandow puts him up for a side suplex. Bryan flips out and tries a "NO!" Lock. Bryan with a drop toehold in the corner on Sandow. Both men down and both looking for tags.

Rhodes in and so is Kane. Kane dropping Rhodes with uppercuts. Back bodydrop by Kane. Running clothesline in the corner by Kane. He tosses Cody into another corner and lands another. Sidewalk slam by Kane gets a nearfall.

Kane going up top, but Rhodes meets him there. Rhodes goes up and unloads strikes, but Kane shoves him down and lands his flying clothesline.

Chokeslam to follow?

No, Bryan tags himself in. Flying headbutt earns Bryan a nearfall, as his partner pulls him off. Kane and Bryan argue, but Sandow pulls Kane to the outside. Kane puts Sandow down. Bryan back bodydrops Rhodes onto Kane. Bryan on the apron and wants a flying knee on the downed Rhodes. Rhodes gets up, but he ducks and Bryan nails Kane.

The two bicker on the outside. Rhodes Scholars with baseball slides.

Back inside and Bryan eats a Cross Rhodes for a nearfall.

Kane starts unleashing on everyone inside the ring. Bell rings and Rhodes Scholars win by DQ.

Sandow eats a chokeslam, but Hell No retains.

The Miz says that, with Kofi Kingston as IC kingpin, the bar has been lowered. Lowered expectations lead to mediocrity and society then crumbles. Miz says that to prevent doomsday in the WWE, he'll continue to be awesome.

He says he will be saving the world by beating Kofi.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. The Miz

Kofi jawing at Miz to start.

Kofi with punches, but Miz puts him down on the mat. Rope-running predicament ensues. Miz almost lands a Skul-Crushing Finale, then Kofi almost landing the Trouble in Paradise.

Miz goes outside to regroup.

Back inside and Miz lands strikes to corner Kofi. Kofi gets a double leg and boots the stomach of Miz. He tosses Miz to the outside. Miz on the apron and Kofi sends him back down with a dropkick.

Miz whips Kofi into the steel steps, but Kofi front flips over. He tries to come back for some offense, but runs into the boot of Miz.

Miz rolls it back inside, but only gets a nearfall.

Miz locks in a sleeper. Kofi attempting to fight out, but having a hard time here. Kofi back to his feet and unloading on the torso of Miz. Miz pulls Kofi down by his hair and lands his running kick to the mush. Miz with a nearfall.

Kofi in the corner and Miz hits his signature sitdown clothesline. Miz up top and gets the double axhandle for a nearfall.

Miz unloading kicks and stomps to the body of Kofi. Kofi in the corner and Miz charges, but Kofi levels him with a clothesline. Both men down.

Back to the feet and Kofi knocking Miz down. Dropkick. Flying clothesline puts Miz down. Boom Drop connects and Kingston now looking for the Trouble in Paradise. He starts clapping to signify, but Miz moves outside.

Back inside and Kofi with a rollup off a Miz kick attempt.

Kofi with the springboard crossbody. Once again, only a nearfall.

Both men exchange some grappling. Miz wants his Skull-Crushing Finale, but Kofi hits the SOS for a nearfall.

Kofi attempts going for something off the ropes, but Miz catches the leg. Miz drapes the knee over his shoulder and hits a kneebreaker. Miz hangs the leg of Kofi up in the corner and hits it with a dropkick. Miz stripping away the kick pads and leg padding of Kofi. Working the left leg in the middle of the ring. He moves back to the corner and works the leg in the corner. Kofi fights out and goes up top, but Miz sweeps him to the floor.

Single leg crab is locked in by Miz. Kofi crawls to the ropes and is fingertips away, but Kofi is dragged back to the middle. Kofi rolls through on a small package for a nearfall.

They get back to the feet and Miz with a kick to the knee. He then plants him with a DDT for a nearfall.

Miz goes for his Skull-Crushing Finale, but Kofi rolls through for a nearfall.

Miz is sent to the outside after a burst of offense by Kofi. He gets back into the ring and is on the receiving end of a Trouble in Paradise.

Kofi retains with the pinfall.

Matt Striker interviews Kofi in the ring, who thanks Miz for bringing out the wildcat in him. He is proud to be IC champion.

Kane tells Bryan it is his fault they lost because he was busy thinking of vegan candy for Halloween. Bryan tells the masked man not to even try to tell him about Halloween. Kane says that he has been born in costume on Old McDonald's Farm.

WWE United States Championship: Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. Justin Gabriel

Cesaro just unloading power offense here. Armlock in. Cesaro with tackles and working Gabriel in the corner. Gabriel with a monkey flip off a Cesaro hip toss attempted. Gabriel goes up top, but Cesaro shoves him to the arena floor.

Cesaro moves outside and gets a gorilla press to the apron on Gabriel.

Back inside and Cesaro gets a nearfall.

Uppercut by Cesaro drops Gabriel and Cesaro unloading some ground and pound. Hooks the leg, but only gets a nearfall.

Cesaro turns Gabriel backwards and uppercuts the back of his head for a nearfall.

Cesaro with a chin lock in on Gabriel. Gabriel fights to his feet, but Cesaro puts him on the top turnbuckle belly down. Running knee to the stomach and a throw by Cesaro gets him a nearfall.

Cesaro with a few jump stomps to Gabriel that once again earn him a nearfall.

Cesaro working mat techniques. He fishhooks the lip of Gabriel in an armbar, but he lets go for the straight armbar. Cesaro takes the back and tries a German, but Gabriel flips out. Spinning heel kick earns Gabriel a nearfall.

Gabriel with a Lionsault for a nearfall.

He goes off the rpes, but Cesaro decapitates him with a clothesline. Pinfall attempt fails for both men in an exchange.

Cesaro working Gabriel in the corner, but Gabriel turns it into a tilt-a-whirl DDT. 450 Splash attempt misses. Cesaro tries to work some action in the corner, but Gabriel with an inverted DDT for a nearfall.

Cesaro moves to the outside. Gabriel wants a springboard attack, but he lands on an European Uppercut. Cesaro puts Gabriel inside.

Guess Prime Time became Primetime. Hm, anyway...

Sin Cara and Young start.

Young with a takedown and smacking the head of Sin Cara. Sin Cara back up and leg kicks. He tries his springboard elbow, but Young moves out. Headscissors by Sin Cara and Rey brought in.

Double-team move earns Rey a nearfall. Rey going for a 619, but Young stops him with a suplex for a nearfall.

Titus in and powering Rey. Muscles him into the mat and lands an elbow in the corner.

Tags and such exchange and Sin Cara and Titus become legal. Springboard crossbody by Sin Cara and he goes up top. Sin Cara is rammed into the corner by Titus. Numerous backbreakers and Young brought in.

Young works some power offense and only gets a nearfall on Sin Cara. Bodyscissors in by Young. Sin Cara fights out and gets a nearfall in the quick offense.

PTPs attempt to double team Sin Cara on the apron. Young eventually drops Sin Cara on his spine on the apron. Nearfall.

Titus brought back in. He is keeping Sin Cara on the mat here. Puts Cara down with a knee. Pumphandle slam by Titus and Young in.

Titus suplexes Young onto Cara for a nearfall.

Sin Cara fighting back out with strikes, but Young puts him down with a clothesline. Young working Sin Cara on the mat and Titus brought in.

Titus working Sin Cara in the corner. Cara again fights back, but Titus hits a suplex for a nearfall.

Titus puts in the abdominal stretch on Sin Cara. Sin Cara fights out, but Titus drops him for a nearfall.

Young brought in and puts Sin Cara down with an elbow strike. Backbreaker by Young gets him a nearfall.

Titus brought in once again. He runs into the ring post and Sin Cara is able to get a flying inverted DDT. Both men down.

Young in and Mysterio in.

Headscissors by Mysterio. He goes up top and gets a seated senton. Tilt-a-whirl DDT by Mysterio on Young for a nearfall.

Mysterio tries a sunset flip, but Young stands. Mysterio with a sneaky groin shot.

Titus is taken out by Sin Cara on the outside.

Young tries for his gutbuster, but Mysterio turns it to a 619 and a flying headbutt follows.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus (c) vs. Big Show

Lockup to start. Show shoves Sheamus to the ground. Sheamus gets a side headlock, but he is whipped into the ropes ropes and eats a shoulder block. Sheamus working the body of Show, but Show clubs him down. Show brawling with Sheamus in the corner. Chop to the chest.

Show powering Sheamus around, but Sheamus now fighting back. Show ends that with a splash in the corner, but Sheamus takes out his knee before the spear attempt.

Show to the outside to regroup.

Back in and Sheamus trying to take advantage here. Sheamus mounts Show in the corner for some punches. Show tosses Sheamus to the outside.

Outside and Show with a huge chop to the chest of Sheamus. Show whips Sheamus into the barricade hard.

Back inside and Show choking Sheamus on the middle rope. Sheamus fighting back with strikes, but Show gets the sidewalk slam for a nearfall.

Show once again putting Sheamus on the mat. Chop in the corner by Show. He steps on the throat of Sheamus. Show taunting Sheamus now. Sheamus fighting back, but he eats a knee to the face. Show stepping Sheamus' throat across the rope.

Show moves outside and takes Sheamus with him. Show sends Sheamus over the announce table.

We go back inside and Show hits Final Cut, but he only earns a nearfall.

Sheamus gets back up with punches to the torso, but Show rag dolls him to the outside once again.

Show pulls Sheamus to the apron by his hair. Sheamus with a shoulder block and a battering ram. Sheamus inside opening up on strikes, but he runs right into a sidekick of Big Show. Nearfall once again for Big Show.

Show fells Sheamus with a headbutt. Sheamus fighting back with torso shots, but Show locks in the bear hug to Sheamus. Sheamus fights out and tries a body slam, but Show falls over on him for a nearfall.

Sheamus goes to the middle rope and hits a splash for a nearfall.

Show wants a Chokeslam. He lifts, but Sheamus hits a DDT. He gets a nearfall.

Sheamus gets a hangman's neckbreaker. Show in the corner and Sheamus looking for the ten to the chest. Show pulls him down and Sheamus goes right into a Chokeslam. Show only earns a nearfall.

Colossal Clutch attempt, but Sheamus fights it. Sheamus going on the offensive and fells Show. Texas Cloverleaf attempt, but Show kicks him to the outside.

Chop to the chest of Sheamus. Sheamus into the announce table. Sheamus almost sent into the ring post. He sends Show in a few times.

Back inside and Sheamus gets caught in another Chokeslam attempt. Knees to the chest of Big Show.

WHITE NOISE! Sheamus lands it on Show. Nearfall.

Brogue Kick attempt. Show catches it. KO Punch starches Sheamus.

Nearfall!

Show frustrated, so he is standing for another KO Punch. Sheamus ducks under.

BROGUE KICK LANDS!

Sheamus hooks the leg. SHOW KICKS OUT!

Sheamus back to his feet and wants another. Pounding the chest. He runs right into a KO Punch!

Big Show with a pinfall and victory!

Eve comes up and wants some recognition, but Booker wants to check on Sheamus.

Teddy comes up to admonish Eve before her match. Zack Ryder comes up dressed as a witch, saying he is doing his best Eve Torres. Santino comes in dressed as Lady Gaga.

CM Punk is here and asks McMahon to call off the match.

McMahon asks if he is scared, but Punk replies negatively to all questions.

McMahon tells Punk to go prove he is the best.

WWE Divas Championship: Eve (c) vs. Layla vs. Kaitlyn

Layla and Kaitlyn double team Eve, but Eve scoots outside. She shoves Layla down, but Kaitlyn throws her inside.

Kaitlyn and Layla start double-teaming Eve in the corner, but Layla goes for a rollup on Kaitlyn.

The two shove each other, but knock down Eve.

Kaitlyn and Layla exchange rollups for nearfalls.

Eve breaks it all up and hits Layla with an STO. Layla sent to the outside. Eve with a bodyslam that hooks Kaitlyn's leg up on the ropes. Working the leg and Eve gets a leg lock in.

Layla comes in and lands a few head kicks on Eve. Springboard crossbody by Layla gets a nearfall.

Eve is forced to do the splits by Layla and Kaitlyn. She is sent out.

Kaitlyn and Layla start exchanging offense. Kaitlyn with a submission armlock. Kaitlyn gets a gutbuster in on Layla. Eve gets in to break the pinfall.

Offensive exchanges start between all three ladies. Eve sent back out once again. Kaitlyn hits a slam on Layla and hooks the leg. Eve hits a swanton bomb...that doesn't land.

Eve hooks Layla's leg and gets the victory to retain.

Punk stands on the arena floor as the match starts. Punk trying to get in safely. He does.

Ryback attempts to lockup, but Punk ducks under and gets to the outside.

Back inside and Ryback walking Punk down, but Punk ducks under. Ryback no sells a chop and puts Punk down with a boot. Ryback slamming Punk's head into the mat. Ryback whips Punk into the corner hard. He does it again, but Ryback runs into a boot. Punk goes for the DDT, but Ryback tosses him like a rag doll.

Punk clotheslined to the outside. Attempting to open the door, but Ryback tossing Punk into the cage. Punk goes inside, but runs to the outside. He goes under the ring. Fire extinguisher sprayed on Ryback. Punk opening up and has a steel chair. Ryback with a big boot that sends the chair into Punk's face.

Action moves back inside. Punk turns the tide. Punk using flying axhandles to fall Ryback. Punk is caught on the third one. Punk drops Ryback with a kick.

Punk hits a suicide dive to Ryback on the outside.

Punk hits a neckbreaker on Ryback on the floor. Punk again going for it, but Ryback attempts a slam. Punk slides out. Ryback charges, but he goes straight into the steel steps.

Action back inside and Punk has a sleeper. Ryback hits the jawbreaker to end that. Punk cornered, but Ryback runs at him and gets a should full of ring post. Punk with the high knee in the corner and a clothesline to follw. Punk going up top and hits the elbow drop.

Punk gets a kendo stick. Punk unloading. Ryback hypes up and starts no-selling. Ryback with clotheslines. Back bodydrop. Spinebuster. Ryback hits the lariat.

Shell Shocked is in.

Referee Brad Maddox stops the finisher. Low blow by Maddox. Punk rolls up Ryback and the ref with an extremely fast count.

Punk retains.

Punk can't get out of the cage and Ryback sending both men into the cage. Ryback with a lariat in the ring on Maddox. He gorilla presses Maddox into the cage.

Punk trying to escape.

Oh no, they are going to the top of the cell.

Ryback catches up with him. Shell Shocked on the top of the cell.
