John Cena honored by Make-A-Wish at recent awards ceremony

For all the negative attention he seems to receive from older fans and pro wrestling websites alike, John Cena's message has been doing good for some time now.

For all the negative press John Cena receives at pro wrestling websites across the Internet, not to mention the treatment he receives from older fans of WWE, he does more good than he's given credit for.

Such as becoming the first man to win the 300th Wish Award from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. From the WWE.com story:

John Cena became the first recipient of the 300th Wish Award Thursday night at the Evening of Excellence held by Make-A-Wish!

With more than 300 wishes and counting, the WWE Superstar was honored for granting more wishes than anyone else in Make-A-Wish history. He was presented the award by wish mom, Judith, whose late son, Justin, was the second Wish child Cena ever met.

Cena holds the record, easily, for most wishes granted in the more than eight years he's been doing so. That dates all the way back to 2004 and considering his schedule and work ethic, he deserves some praise for this.

We can't hate him all the time, right?
