SmackDown Live ratings (Dec. 6, 2016): Audience slightly smaller for TLC fallout

For the third straight week, SmackDown’s audience size was in the same ballpark... but instead of a slight uptick, the Dec. 6 episode which featured fallout from the TLC pay-per-view (PPV) and a Dean Ambrose vs. Miz main event was just below 2.5 million viewers, down from the two previous weeks.

2,479,000 viewers tuned in last night, down from 2,576,000 on Nov. 29. That was good for their usual eighth place spot among primetime cable options. SmackDown was second in rating for the 18-49 demographic, with its .78 share only behind History’s Curse of Oak Island.

Probably nothing to be too alarmed about. December is a tough month for television across the board, and keeping the decreases small as we get closer to the holidays is the goal.
