After hitting a high mark for their 900th episode featuring Undertaker two weeks ago, SmackDown Live has settled into a ratings groove.
The audience for their Nov. 29 episode, which pushed storylines and feuds toward this Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view (PPV), drew 2,576,000 million viewers - up slightly from the 2,505,000 million who tuned in on Nov. 22 for the fallout from Survivor Series.
That made the blue brand the ninth most watched cable show of the night.
Ratings among 18 - 49 year olds were down by a similarly small fraction to .79, good for third best on cable.
It’s the second biggest audience the show’s had since mid-September - and remains above what it was getting on Thursday nights before the brand split draft - but gains beyond this level on Tuesdays have been hard to sustain. We’ll see how they do coming out TLC next week.
