James Ellsworth is no Goldberg.
The chin-derella story main event WWE pushed all week kept their audience essentially flat from the prior week’s 2,448,000 viewers. And, jokes aside, the 2,405,000 Ellsworth/Styles II drew isn’t bad at all, considering Oct. 11 was the fallout show from a pay-per-view (PPV).
SmackDown Live was once again the sixth most watched cable original on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 18, placing behind the two Major League Baseball playoff games and Fox News’ primetime line-up. And while the viewership was down a smidge, the ratings share among 18 - 49 year olds was actually up slighty at .81 (compared to last week’s .79).
The good news is the audience has rebounded from a rough last couple weeks in Sept. Overall, the blue brand looks to have settled into an audience just below 2.5 million per week.
