Coming off a pay-per-view (PPV) and with slightly less competition than last week’s Vice-Presidential debate, SmackDown rebounded to 2,448,000 viewers on Tuesday, Oct. 11. That’s not only up from the week prior (2.316 million), but also above where they were before they went head-to-head with the election juggernaught (Sept. 27’s 2.340 million).
In total viewers, they were sixth on the evening, trailing the two Major League Baseball playoff games and Fox News’ trio of prime-time talking head shows. As far as rating among 18 - 49 year olds go, they were second. Their .79 trailed only the Chicago Cubs thrilling come-from-behind, series clinching victory over the San Francisco Giants, which pulled a 1.99 with that demographic.
In intra-company competition, the blue brand still trails Raw, which garnered 2.79 million viewers on Monday.
