WWE SmackDown results, live blog (Sept. 24, 2015): Kane!

WWE SmackDown comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Sept. 24, 2015) from Corpus Christi, Texas with a taped show on the SyFy channel featuring the fallout show from the Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) that went down just this past Sunday night in Houston.

Because SmackDown is a taped show, you can simply go read the spoilers to know everything that happens (find them by clicking here). We will provide results with a live blog below anyway.

You can use this space to discuss all the events as they occur, however, and it's probably going to enhance your viewing experience. In fact, I know it is because we're a lot of fun around here.

Enjoy the show!

SMACKDOWN RESULTS

BaconStrips here. Let's do this.

WWE Signature and a recap of the events involving Kane and Seth Rollins

________________________________________

Kane is in the ring to start the show. He welcomes us to "SchmackDown."

He addresses his long vacation before telling us why he's qualified to take on WWE and it's responsibilities.

Kane gets to work by making some matches: Rusev and Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler and Ryback, Luke Harper vs Roman Reigns (with everyone banned from ringside).

As Kane goes on, Seth Rollins interrupts, and he does not look happy.

Kane excitedly introduces Rollins, and Rollins tells Kane to cut the crap. He says that Kane's charade isn't working, and that we all know that The Demon Kane is hiding under the suit. Kane responds by inviting Rollins to the ring for a productive and civilized dialogue.

Rollins and Kane go back-and-forth with Kane being all happy-go-lucky and dumb until his demonic side makes an appearance promising unbearable violence on Rollins. After this, the dark side disappears and the insanely happy Kane comes back, prompting Rollins to call Kane unfit for his duties and unwelcome around him or his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Rollins tells Kane that he needs serious help. Kane responds by happily announcing tonight's main event: Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins.

This should be a barnburner.

Roman Reigns vs Luke Harper

As said a few paragraphs up, The Wyatt Family and Dean Ambrose are banned from ringside.

This was a fairly quick yet fun match that saw both men get some good hoss moves in. Reigns gets the win with the spear.

The New Day vs Neville and The Lucha Dragons

Before the match, The New Day hypes their upcoming match against The Dudley Boyz at MSG.

This was a very fun match that saw Neville and Co. do some fun high-flying spots including stereo dives to the floor. In the end, Xavier Woods pinned Sin Cara after nailing him with a brutal drive-by knee strike after a distraction from Kofi Kingston.

Cesaro vs Bo Dallas

Before the match, Dallas tells Cesaro that he feels his pain in regards to facing impossible foes. Bo survived Suplex City while Cesaro is stuck on Big Show Boulevard. He then tells Cesaro to Bolieve.

This was a pretty fun match with Cesaro doing some pretty nifty stuff in the beginning before Bo takes control for a while. In the end, Cesaro gets the win with his inescapable wrist-clutch head-scissors pin.

Charlotte and Becky Lynch come out to the ring.

She talks about her victory at Night of Champions against Nikki Bella before thanking everyone for believing in this so-called Divas Revolution.

At this moment, Paige comes out , and Becky is unimpressed.

Paige reminds us that she's never been a team player, and she's just trying to be herself.

She enters the ring and says that she shouldn't have dumped on Charlotte on Monday, and she tells Becky that she might just be a Divas Champ one day despite being irrelevant. She then refocuses on Charlotte, saying that she isn't able to represent the Diva's division.

Paige starts to get snarkier and snarkier when Natalya comes out.

Paige tells Natalya that this has nothing to do with her before telling her to get out. Natalya responds by putting over the next generation of women in WWE, calling the division the best in a LONG time. She then hounds Paige for being upset at Charlotte for being champion, calling Paige better than that.

Paige then says that she is better than Natalya by saying that the revolution has just passed her by, and she will be completely unable to make herself relevant. Paige then finishes this segment off with a gunshot slap to Nattie's face.

Ryback and Dolph Ziggler vs Rusev and Kevin Owens

This was a decent enough tag match that saw Ryback and Ziggler get the win after Owens walked out on Rusev, leaving him to eat a superkick and Shellshock.

Video package for Big Show because of course.

Backstage, The Dudley Boyz are backstage complaining about Xavier Woods' trombone when they run into Renee Young, who asks them about New Day. Bubba Ray says that The New Day thinks that they run the WWE and don't act like champions. He proclaims that they will become ten-time tag champions. D-Von starts to talk when the Primetime Players interrupt and wish The Dudleys luck at MSG.

Jojo interviews Seth Rollins about Kane's return and his match with Dean Ambrose. Rollins tells Jojo that she can't be buying Kane's schtick before calling him a living demon who needs some help. As for Ambrose, it's gonna be more of the same: Rollins is gonna destroy Ambrose.

Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins

Again, note the pyro shooters on the corners...

As you would expect, these two had themselves a hell of a great match. I've said it before, but these two have some absolutely dynamite chemistry, and it showed here with some great back-and-forth action. The end comes when Rollins starts to get Ambrose ready for the end when Kane's pyro goes boom. As Rollins is distracted, Ambrose rolls up Rollins to win.

After the match, an angry Rollins addresses Kane's recent behavior, promising him a similar fate to Sting should he continue to mess with him.

This ends the show.
