WWE SmackDown results, live blog (May 28, 2015): Elimination Chamber go home show

WWE SmackDown comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (May 28, 2015) from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania with a taped show on the SyFy channel featuring the go home show to the Elimination Chamber event scheduled for this Sunday night in Corpus Christi, Texas on the WWE Network.

Because SmackDown is a taped show, you can simply go read the spoilers to know everything that happens (find them by clicking here). We will provide results with a live blog below anyway.

You can use this space to discuss all the events as they occur, however, and it's probably going to enhance your viewing experience. In fact, I know it is because we're a lot of fun around here.

Dean Ambrose comes to the ring and rehashes the main storyline of Raw in regards to him trying to sign the contract for his title match at Elimination Chamber and getting arrested in the process

He talks about his one phone call in jail. Who would he call? The pizza place? Fat Tony and Sneaky Pete: Attorneys at Law?

Nope. He called his only friend: Roman Reigns. He had Reigns buy him some time as he plotted to escape his jail cell...and then the bombshell was dropped with that YouTube video was released, clearing him of all charges.

Now his ride back? Simple: he got hooked up with the paddy-wagon that he was hauled off to jail in (having friends in the police department helps, doesn't it?)

Ambrose has a simple point to make about their upcoming match: Ambrose is going to beat the hell out of Seth Rollins and take his title in the process.

The Brass Ring Club vs Lucha Dragons (Tag Team Lumberjack match)

Would you ever expect a tag team lumberjack match to be one of the best SD matches of 2015? I didn't, but this was absolutely awesome. The BRC and Lucha Dragons have some great chemistry together and performed some insanely creative moves that you don't see everyday. The Lucha Dragons got the win after Xavier Woods distracted Tyson Kidd, allowing Kalisto to hit Salida Del Sol for the win.

Kane and Seth Rollins chat about their upcoming match against Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. Jamie Noble tells a quick story about his Aunt Baby, then shuts up when it gets awkward.

Renee Young interviews Lana about the whole Rusev situation. Lana says that she almost let her emotions take advantage of her and almost let Rusev fool her into thinking that he's changes. She says that she is no man's property.

Renee asks about Dolph Ziggler, and Lana says that there is no relationship between them, and Rusev's attack won't stop Ziggler from competing on Sunday.

At this moment, Rusev comes in and taunts Lana about Ziggler. He says that the whole situation isn't bothering him to Lana's disbelief.

Rusev vs Ryback

This was a fairly long hoss fight that ended on an audible after Rusev injured his ankle. Both men went outside and Rusev threw Ryback into the ring post, leading to a double count out.

Paige vs Naomi

Halfway decent match that saw some not-bad offense from Naomi, who tried to work the arm. Nonetheless, Paige got the win after a small superkick party and hitting Naomi with the RamPaige

After the match, The Bella Twins come out and all three have a mini staredown

Michael Cole welcomes Kevin Owens to the ring.

Cole starts by saying that Owens has been in WWE for 2 weeks, but Owens corrects him, saying that he's been in the business for 15 years and has competed around the world.

Cole brings up John Cena, and Owens interrupts, saying that he knows Cena's resume, including 57 terrible t-shirt and 1000 ways to suck.

He talks about how he murdered Sami Zayn at Takeover, and how he plans to desecrate Cena at Elimination Chamber.

He also rolled his eyes at the mere mention of the WWE Universe....the little things.

As he leaves, Dean Ambrose comes down. Owens looks at him for a moment, then leaves.

We've seen this before. J&J Security interfere as Reigns is setting up for the spear, causing a DQ

After the match, a brawl ensues with Kane resorting to calling for The New Day to even the odds....until they are taken out by Ambreigns. As they celebrate, they are taken down by Kane and Rollins.
