WWE SmackDown spoilers (April 16, 2015): Tag team playa playa playa

WWE SmackDown returns to SyFy this coming Thursday night (April 16, 2015) from London, England but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.

Unwrap that present early:

- John Cena opened with a promo saying the same things he always says. Then he explained what a "Russian Chain Match" is, which is basically a strap match. He issued his open challenge and The Brass Ring Club came out. They talked about being the best champions, so Daniel Bryan came out to talk about the same and a tag team match was booked for the main event (playa playa playa).

- Bray Wyatt def. R-Truth in what amounted to a simple squash.

- The Miz came out for a promo to run down Damien Mizdow but was interrupted by Bad News Barrett. Then they had a match and Barrett hit the Bullhammer for the win in under 30 seconds.

- Renee Young did an interview with Mizdow but Miz interrupted to say he wants Mizdow to cease all use of the Miz brand. Mizdow challenged him to a match for the Miz trademark on Raw next week and Summer Rae slapped Miz.

- Neville def. Sheamus via disqualification when Sheamus put him through the announce table. He put a beat down on Neville after too, but Dolph Ziggler ran in to make the save and they set up a match at Extreme Rules.

- The New Day def. Los Matadores in the same match you're used to by now.

- Fandango broke up with Rosa Mendes, who received encouragement from Adam Rose. Later, Fandango would defeat Rose despite Mendes' attempts to distract him. More crowd dancing.

- Big Show came out and cut a promo saying he is asking The Authority to book him against Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules.

- Cameron def. Alicia Fox and Natayla in a match that got no heat.

- Another Bray Wyatt promo saying words.

- Daniel Bryan & John Cena def. The Brass Ring Club in a match that featured a run in from some idiots in the crowd who performed an impromptu match before security finally ran them off. The match itself saw the heels get the heat on Cena to hot tag Bryan so he could run wild and get the submission on Kidd with the Yes! Lock.
