WWE SmackDown spoilers (July 11, 2014): Roman Reigns vs. Rusev

WWE.com

WWE SmackDown returns to SyFy this coming Friday night (July 11, 2014) from Ottawa, Canada, but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday night. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.

Unwrap that present early:

- The show opened with a Lana promo that gave way to a staredown between Rusev and Roman Reigns. These two always produce electricty when they run into each other.

- AJ Lee def. Cameron thanks to Naomi tossing her in the ring when she tried to bail to continue the Funkadactyls break up story. There are conflicting reports on this saying AJ beat Naomi with Cameron interfering. We'll see. They also announced AJ vs. Paige for the Divas title at Battleground.

- Adam Rose def. Fandango via count out after the latter attempted to break up yet another brawl between Summer Rae and Layla on the outside. Rose still hit the Party Foul back in the ring. Later, Summer and Layla would have a match with Fandango as special guest referee and the story went exactly where it always should have, with the girls turning on Fandango and teaming up to beat him down after he kissed them both. They danced, he watched, yeah.

- The Usos def. Heath Slater & Titus O'Neil in what amounted to a squash match. After, they cut a promo.

- Randy Orton def. Chris Jericho with the RKO thanks to a distraction from Bray Wyatt.

- Goldust def. Ryback in a straight singles match. There was a post-match angle with Stardust blowing something in Ryback's face.

- Bo Dallas def. both El Torito and Diego and then continued his bullying of Torito by attacking him after the match.

- Roman Reigns def. Rusev via disqualification when Randy Orton got involved. They did the post-match beatdown but as he always seems to do these days, Reigns fought back and closed the show standing tall after a spear.

That's the show, folks. Your thoughts?
