WWE Friday Night SmackDown comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Oct. 31, 2014) from Houston, Texas with a taped show on the SyFy channel featuring a Halloween special with all the continued fallout from Hell in a Cell as well as build to Survivor Series.
Because SmackDown is a taped show, you can simply go read the spoilers to know everything that happens (find them by clicking here). We will provide results with a live blog below anyway.
You can use this space to discuss all the events as they occur, however, and it's probably going to enhance your viewing experience. In fact, I know it is because we're a lot of fun around here.
Enjoy the show!

SMACKDOWN RESULTS
- The show opened with the Vince McMahon video announcing November is free on the WWE Network for new subscribers.
- Divas number one contender battle royal: AJ Lee was on commentary. She was wearing a white shirt that read "BOO" and said she's a ghost. They didn't get much time. The finish was Alicia Fox spearing Paige out of the ring to give Nikki Bella the victory. AJ's reaction was to say "she finally earned something in her life".
- The Authority was out, with Kane cutting a promo about knowing all there is to know about Halloween. Because he's a demon, you know. They announced Cesaro vs. Dean Ambrose for the main event tonight in a Trick or Street Fight. Seth Rollins tried to talk and they chanted "YOU SOLD OUT" at him. He brought up Bray Wyatt getting to Ambrose first. "Right, Dean-O?" He played to the crowd about selling out. They brought up Team Cena at Survivor Series and who would join it. That led to Kane calling out Dolph Ziggler for a rematch from Raw.
- Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler: They had a similar match to the one on Raw, except Rollins, Joey Mercury, and Jamie Noble were out at ringside. They got involved at one point, but ultimately Kane won the match relatively clean with a choke slam after a superkick. Immediately after, Michael Cole mentioned that he wasn't making excuses for Dolph but it's hard to win up against odds like this. After the match, Kane choke slammed Ziggler a second time. Then The Goons came in and put the boots to poor Dolph. Kane got on the mic and told him he has another match, this one against Rollins it would be starting now.
- Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler: Cole called this a blatant abuse of power while wondering who would associate with Cena now that this message has been made clear. They rang the bell, Rollins hit the Curb Stomp, and the pinfall was counted.
- Heath Slater was out dressed like a scarecrow. He said he's really a big brave crow, though, and after what John Cena did to him on Raw, he's offering... He never got the chance to finish because "FEED ME MORE" hit the speakers and the crowd popped in anticipation of the squash that was to come.
- Heath Slater vs. Ryback: Slater landed a punch and Ryback laughed it off. Ryback ripped his hand off and Slater felt really proud of himself. "I tricked THE BIG GUY!" Ryback played into it at first, but quickly hit a spinebuster, the meathook clothesline, and Shell Shock for the pin.
- Adam Rose and his gang of idiots were rolling around trick or treating backstage. They ran into a ghost and were scared, but it was just R-Truth. He talked about how much he loves The Bunny and then asked Rose if it makes him mad that The Bunny upstages him. "Sometimes, I forget you even exist and people just wonder what The Bunny is going to do next." Then he told Rose he should have dressed up as The Bunny. Truth gave Rose a special treat -- a rock. "What am I supposed to do with a rock," Rose wondered. They left.
- Miz TV was next. They broke down the issues between Mark Henry and Big Show, including Henry turning on him on Raw this past week. Henry came out and Miz asked what happened. Mark called it a dumb question, saying not to ask him such things, and then answered it anyway. Miz wonders if there was resentment about Rusev and played a clip of Henry laughing when Show submitted to The Accolade at Hell in a Cell. He claimed Show wasn't defending America but trying to upstage him by succeeding where he had failed. The crowd started doing the "what" chant to Henry and he stopped to tell them to shut up. That was great. He called out Show as a tall guy with an overactive pituitary gland. "It's not about size, it's about strength." That brought Show out. Henry hid behind Miz and Damien Mizdow, who provided no resistance whatsoever. When Show got to Henry, he ended up getting thrown through a barricade.
- Los Matadores vs. Gold & Stardust: They played a lot of this for comedy, with El Torito causing enough of a distraction that his team scored a roll up pinfall victory with Stardust occupied on the outside and Goldust not expecting anything.
- Rusev vs. Great Khali: This wasn't even a match. Not even sure you can call it a squash. It was Rusev destroying Khali in two moves, this despite Khali hitting his once LETHAL chop to the head.
- After the match, Lana grabbed a microphone and climbed in the ring. "SHU TUP!" They were getting a ton of heat, but this is SmackDown, so it could be canned. She was getting really flustered by the crowd. Finally, she said they were given another direction from Russia and that's to further destroy the American spirit. Rusev took the mic and brought up having beaten strong Americans and giant Americans; now he'll CRUSH our champions. He said he was going to take Sheamus out, win the U.S. title, and bring it back to Vladimir Putin. This brought Sheamus out. He accepted the challenge. He tried to Brogue Kick Rusev when he got to the ring but missed and the heels (?) bailed.
- Bray Wyatt was out next. He sat in the middle of the ring in his rocking chair. He said today was a special day because everyone gets to pretend to be something they're not. Have we ever stopped to wonder why camouflage makes us feel so comfortable. Maybe it's because we hate our terrible lives. But everyone can take their mask off. Dean Ambrose is different, though, because he can't take his mask off. The fans love him but he's nothing like them and everything like Bray. He's a monster, an animal. He doesn't get to wash his hands away. His sins will stay forever. "She still cries for you."
- Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro: They had a bunch of pumpkins and various Halloween related gimmicks all around the ring. The match was a big brawl with both guys trying to make sure they got every gimmick involved. That includes Ambrose hitting Cesaro repeatedly with a skeleton and Cesaro taking a back body drop on a bunch of pumpkins. At one point, Dean grabbed a witch's broom and flew through the air to hit a flying elbow on Cesaro through a table. The finish was Ambrose putting a pumpkin on Cesaro's head and hitting Dirty Deeds to get the pin. Post-match, Ambrose put the pumpkin back on Cesaro's head and when he couldn't see where he was going, he hit another Dirty Deeds.
End.
