WWE SmackDown returns to the SyFy channel this coming Friday night (April 5, 2013) from Washington D.C. but the show was taped before last night's episode of Monday Night Raw thanks to this being WrestleMania week. That means full spoilers are readily available, if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.
Unwrap that present early:
-- It should be noted right away that SmackDown won't feature a full show like normal this week. Most of the broadcast will be filled with footage from Axxess.
-- Ryback def. Primo and Epico, slamming both men at the same time. He was made to look as strong as possible on the last show before the big one.
-- The Rhodes Scholars and the Bella Twins apparently dress up as Tons of Funk and the Funkadactyls, even entering with their music. Naturally, this led to the babyfaces coming down to brawl with the heels before dancing the night away. Or something like that.
-- Jack Swagger def. Kofi Kingston with the Patriot Lock to give him one final victory before his world heavyweight championship match on Sunday.
Not much to it, folks. This is as stock as it gets right here but it serves its purpose. Plus, if you're trying to feel good about what's to come on Friday night remember this:
