WWE Friday Night SmackDown comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Oct. 11, 2013) from Columbus, Ohio, with a taped show on the SyFy channel featuring the fallout episode from the Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) this past Sunday night in Buffalo.

Either way, come back here at 8 p.m. ET for the SmackDown live blog.

WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR OCT. 11

Geno here.

Hey Cagesiders, I'm late getting in. Apologies!

Los Matadores vs. Los Locales

For the record, the two masked wrestlers in Los Locales are Ricardo Rodriguez and Tyson Kidd, according to reports. Really, they're only in there to make the artists formerly known as Primo and Epico look good.

Rodriguez isn't the most athletic guy on Earth but he can bump his ass off.

After, El Torito hits a top rope hurricanrana on Kidd before assisting in the backdrop finish the other two do.

Natalya, Eva Marie, & Kaitlyn vs. Brie Bella, Cameron, & Naomi

Before they start, Brie and Natalya shake hands, which is a nice change of pace and not something you see in WWE often.

In an awesome spot, Natalya had Brie neutralized and tagged in Eva Marie to get in on the action. Immediately, Brie reversed her. That's just good stuff.

Kaitlyn hit a terrible Spear coming off the ropes. Chaos reigned right after, with everyone getting in on it with finishers and what not. Kaitlyn ended up getting rolled up by one of the Funkadactlys. After, they, along with the Bellas, danced in the ring.

The Rhodes brothers are here for an interview.

The two put over their win at Battleground before looking ahead to tonight's main event, their match against the Wyatt Family. "Out of the frying pit and into the fire," as Cody referred to it.

That's later, though.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Damien Sandow

This match was set up earlier in the night when Del Rio tried to manipulate Vickie Guerrero into cancelling his match against John Cena at Hell in a Cell later this month. Sandow came out to complain as well and the two were booked for this bout.

Considering the booking here, it sure looks like Sandow is going babyface. It's a good thing they did this match on SmackDown, then, so they could control the crowd reaction.

Del Rio won with the Cross Armbreaker after Sandow had his knee cut out from under him with the referee distracted. Pretty good heat for Del Rio, piped in or not.

Great Khali & Prime Time Players vs. 3MB

Despite all the rumors surrounding Drew McIntrye, he's still rolling with the 3 Man Band, baybay. Actually, he was probably the most entertaining thing about this match, mocking Darren Young for his inability to reach his corner to tag in his partner Titus O'Neil.

A simple match that ended with a big build towards Khali getting tagged in and hitting the giant chop on Heath Slater for the pinfall.

After, all three of the babyfaces danced in the ring.

This has been a painfully forgettable episode and it's already time for the main event.

Rhodes Brothers vs. Wyatt Family

The light roster thanks to the overseas tour has led to the Wyatt Family getting the main event slot here, but if nothing else it's a good opportunity to show how good Rowan and Harper can be, especially considering how hot Cody Rhodes and Goldust currently are.

Anyway, the babyfaces went over clean to close the show.

End.
