WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR JAN. 25

C.J. here to end the week right.

Recap of The Shield's attack on The Rock last Monday (Jan. 21).

Hype video for Alberto Del Rio vs. The Big Show at Royal Rumble.

Broadcast is live.

BOOM!

Team Hell No making their way to the ring.

Recap of the Anger Management Graduation Ceremony.

A "YES!" chant fills the arena.

Kane is here to address the rumors that they have gone soft. Bryan says that nothing can be further from the truth. Kane states that after Team Hell No defeats Team Rhodes Scholars, he will be throwing 29 other wrestlers over the top rope and will main event WrestleMania.

Bryan: "YE... wait, what?"

Kane speaks about his Royal Rumble history.

Bryan: "But you've never won the Royal Rumble Match, which is what I'm going to do this Sunday! YES!"

A short "I'm going to win the Royal Rumble Match" back and forth ensures

WELL IT'S THE BIG SHOW!

Show tells them that no one cares about their plans. They might have a 100% chance to win the Rumble, but he has a 100% chance of winning the World Heavyweight Championship. And if they do win the Royal Rumble, they would be committing career suicide by choosing to face him.

Bryan: "Didn't I bet your for the World Heavyweight Championship?"

Show: "I'm not having any of your crap tonight!"

Show states that Del Rio stole his title, and he will squish that bug come Sunday. Just like he will squish Hell No if they stand in his way.

Kane: "We're not a couple of bugs. We are the Tag Team Champions. And we're not going anywhere."

Bryan: "In other words....NO!"

A confused crowd gives a

HALLELUJAH!

Rhodes Scholars making their way to the ring. Sandow tells them that they are putting the cart in front of the horse. Or, in front of the goat.

Cause Bryan has a goat face, you see.

Cody will put it in a language simpletons can understand. Rhodes Scholars will be taking the Tag Team Championship on Sunday.

Sandow proposes an alliance to Show. Because they all will be champions, why don't they decimate Team Hell No post haste.

(Trumpets)

Here comes Del Rio to even the odds. The six men square off in the ring. They look like they are about to brawl. If only there was a logical conclusion to this situation...

CAN YOU DIG IT, SUCKAAA!

And here comes the Booker man to book me a match. Tonight's main event will be as follows...

Team Rhodes Scholars will team up with The Big Show. They will face Team Hell No and the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio.

HOWEVER! There will be a stipulation. This will be a Six-Man ELIMINATION match!

Now I can dig that, sucka!

Big Show tries to get the jump on Del Rio, but the "Mexican Aristocrat" rolls out of the way and stands strong with Team Hell No. Show is looking pissed off.

And Del Rio gives the giant a little wink! A "SI!" chant fills the arena.

(TV Static) DU-NUN-NUN-NAH, NUN-NUN-NUN-NAH

Punk and Heyman out to the ring.

Punk informs us that he is scared. Scared of his own potential. He has just begun to scratch at the surface of what he can do.

One thing, however, stands in the way. One thing can make 432 days go up in smoke.

"Rocky" chant fills the arena.

No, Punk says, it's not The Rock. I can break The Rock.

It's The Shield.

Because of The Shield's independent actions, The Chairman of WWE has sent Punk a letter. It states that if The Shield gets involved in the championship match, Punk will be stripped of the title.

Punk does not like Vince McMahon trying to steal his championship.

So Punk will do the one thing that no one has done.

He is calling out The Shield.

Punk grabs a chair and brings it back into the ring. We got ourselves a good ol' fashion call out!

Before Punk can even sit down, The Shield's music hits and the trio make their way down from the audience. They surround the ring. Punk back is on the rope.

He explains his situation to The Shield. He never asked them to attack The Rock or Ryback. He has never asked them for anything in his life. So they need to stay out of his way.

Camera is on Dean Ambrose. The man looks demonic with his stare.

Punk promises them that he will beat The Rock. This will not only extend his run, but it will be the biggest victory of his career.

And he will do it by himself.

Punk doesn't want The Shield's help. He doesn't need their help. If they really want justice, then they will never have to cross paths again.

The Shield exchange glances. Finally, the trio drop down from the apron and make their way back into the audience.

Can you guys feel my goosebumps through the Live Blog?

Punk: "Now that is how a champ takes care of business!"

Punk starts hyping the match on Sunday. He reminds us that The Rock is good, nay great.

But Punk is the best in the world.

Come Sunday, he will prove that he is the best in the world. He will prove that he is the greatest of all time!

IF YOU SMEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLL!

Here comes The Rock to add some gas to the bonfire. He poses on the ring posts, staring down at Punk. Punk stares back, holding the championship out in front of him.

The Rock informs Punk that he will put an end to his garbage. The Rock's gut says that he is a lier and he is working with The Shield. The Rock's heart says that he does not give a damn. The Rock's boot says that it is getting shoved up Punk's candy ass.

I am The Rock's raging bile duct.

The Rock hears the walls closing. Punk will crack during their match. The Rock is going to hook him for the Rock Bottom. The Rock will lift him high in the air. Punk will only have one thought in that moment. Not how great he is or how long his run has been.

Punk will realize that it is over.

The Rock will beat him, 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring.

He gets right up in the champion face.

"If you can smell what The Rock....(whisper) is cooking"

Okay, now I know you guys can feel my goosebumps.

Bryan is able to hold on, though. He skins the cat, but is met immediately with a WMD. Over the rope he goes. Bryan is eliminated via count out.

Show: "I am the NEW World Heavyweight Champion"

Crowd: "Big Show sucks!"

Show now begins counting again in spanish. He reaches a diez count.
