WWE SmackDown returns to SyFy this coming Friday night (Dec. 7, 2012) from North Charleston but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday night. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.
Unwrap that present early (via Wrestling Observer):
-- Booker T manages to get Big Show and Sheamus to sign an agreement not to have any physical contact with one another until their chairs match at TLC. Expect clever ways around this.
-- Big Show def. Daniel Bryan. The Shield strikes after the match, leaving Bryan laying. Kane attempts to make the save for his tag team partner but he went through a table via the three man powerbomb for his trouble. Good way to set up the match at TLC.
-- Damien Sandow looked for another apprentice but this time The Miz came out to start a feud.
-- 3MB def. The Usos and Brodus Clay. Oh how the mighty dinosaur has fallen.
-- Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett thanks to a distraction from Kofi Kingston, Barrett's opponent at TLC.
-- Great Khali and Hornswoggle def. Primo and Epico. There are really no words for this. Remember when Primo and Epico were tag champions of a fledgling division and were never on TV? Now they're jobbing to a giant and a midget.
-- Antonio Cesaro and R-Truth run an angle leading to a match being booked between the two for TLC.
-- Sheamus def. Alberto Del Rio with Big Show watching. Remember when I said to expect clever ways around the two not being able to touch each other? Yeah, Sheamus ended up throwing Ricardo Rodriguez into Show. Yep.
Thoughts on all this, Cagesiders?
