WWE SmackDown returns to SyFy this coming Friday night (Nov. 30, 2012) from Bossier City but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday night. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.
Unwrap that present early (via ProWrestling.net):
-- The Miz still isn't back from overseas yet so this week's episode doesn't open with MizTV like it's been doing for what feels like a long time now.
-- Instead, John Cena shows up to run down Dolph Ziggler only to get interrupted by Alberto Del Rio, leading to a match between the two. Naturally, Cena picks up the pinfall victory after what sounds like another main event style match from the king of said main event, even in the curtain jerker. As he exited stage left, he was attacked by Ziggler. He would tell Booker T backstage that he wanted to get his hands on Dolph but Booker told him to wait until the main event is over.
-- Great Khali def. David Otunga. A short nothing match done, apparently, to further the fact that Khali and Hornswoggle are such good friends now. They danced, a few people laughed, and that was that.
-- Team Hell No and Kofi Kingston def. Prime Time Players and Wade Barrett in the big match in the middle of the show. Fast paced with a ton of talented guys, this was reportedly a great match.
-- It seems Damien Sandow debuts a new segment where he picks out someone from the crowd, brings them in the ring, and tests their intelligence with a series of questions. The chosen fan got the last question wrong and was promptly booted out of the ring. This reportedly went over well live and it sounds phenomenal.
-- Sandow def. Tyson Kidd in what was described as an entertaining match.
-- 3MB def. The Usos in a short match that no one cared about.
-- Sheamus def. Ziggler via disqualification after Big Show ran in following what sounds like a decent main event. Show and Ziggler put the boots to Sheamus until Cena came rushing in to save the day. That's how the taping ended.
