WWE SmackDown returns to SyFy this coming Friday night (Oct. 19, 2012) from Memphis but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday night. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.

Unwrap that present early (via ProWrestling.net):

-- MizTV kicks things off with guests Daniel Bryan and Kane. Miz runs the two down and quickly becomes an instigator while Team Hell No continues to struggle to get along. Finally, Big Show comes down to attack Bryan over the 45-second title loss. He won't let that happen again, you see, but Dolph Ziggler makes his presence felt to say that's exactly what might happen at Hell in a Cell if he beats Sheamus. To end the madness, Booker T books a couple matches. Team Hell No vs. Show and Ziggler and Miz vs. Randy Orton.

-- Orton def. Miz after a solid match. Alberto Del Rio watched from a luxury box, presumably because he wants to scout his opponent at the PPV.

-- Sheamus asked Teddy Long for a rematch with Wade Barrett and a lumberjack match was booked for the main event.

-- The Rhodes Scholars def. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd in what amounted to a squash to get the rising heel team over as they head into the finals of the tag title tournament.

-- Team Hell No def. Big Show and Ziggler. After the match, the Rhodes Scholars attacked the tag champs at the top of the ramps.

-- Antonio Cesaro def. Ted DiBiase. I believe this is the first time DiBiase has been on television in months and he's here to go right back to jobbing to mid-card title holders like Cesaro, who is still doing his vignettes. He does another one here.

-- 3MB shows up for an interview to get their new stable over. Drew McIntyre does an Axl Rose impression, even. This led into a match between Heath Slater and Brodus Clay, which was won by Slater after distractions from McIntyre and Jinder Mahal.

-- Layla def. Natalya with Eve Torres on commentary.

-- Sheamus def. Wade Barrett after the lumberjacks brawled and caused enough of a stir for Sheamus to get the Brogue Kick for the win. Ziggler came in and hit the Zig Zag to tease cashing in his Money in the Bank contract but Big Show hit the WMD before he got the chance.

That's the show, folks. Sound good to you?
