WWE Raw ratings (May 2, 2016): Viewers up for Payback fallout show

WWE.com

After a month long steady drop in viewers following WrestleMania 32, Monday Night Raw finally bounced back with this week's show, which featured all the fallout from the Payback pay-per-view (PPV) this past Sunday night. The full show drew 3.43 million viewers (a 2.35 rating), a nice bump up from last week's 3.12 million viewers.

The hourly breakdown is also encouraging, considering it shows WWE mostly kept its audience throughout the night.

Hour one: 3.45 million
Hour two: 3.45 million
Hour three: 3.38 million

That third hour is most encouraging, as it breaks the streak of consecutive shows drawing under three million viewers. There's still competition coming from the NBA Playoffs but the ongoing main event storyline with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns (and family) taking on AJ Styles (and friends) has been received well by critics.

Perhaps fans are starting to buy in too?
