Charlotte vs. Natalya in a submissions match at Extreme Rules; Ric Flair banned from ringside

WWE on Twitter

Coming as no surprise following the "Chicago Screwjob", Natalya will get another shot at Charlotte's Women's title at the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view on May 22. In a fitting wrinkle considering that their Payback match ended with referee Charles "Lil Naitch" Robinson claiming Natty verbally submitted, the two women will face off in a bout that can only be won by submission.

And in news that's sure to please fans concerned he was a distraction from the Women's division, and generate whispers concerning his controversial morning in Logan International Airport last week, Stephanie McMahon declared that Ric Flair can not be ringside for this encounter.

What's more, she said that Flair was a "distraction" for his daughter because of his behavior. Steph was referring to a scene in the ring just prior to her chat with Charlotte and her dad, where the Nature Boy dressed himself down and got in Natalya's face, only to find himself in a Sharpshooter. But it's hard to not read between the lines there.

Whatever the intent was there, we're finally getting Charlotte on her own. Will she be able to retain against the former Divas champ without her family's dirty tricks?
