For the first time since Survivor Series, Raw was back under three million viewers. The overall drop wasn’t that bad - Dec. 6’s show drew 2,976,000 million, down about 4% from last week’s 3,110,000 - but is a little disappointing after a brief upward trend over the last few weeks.
Also returning to Earth were the hour-to-hour holds. The “Charlotte apologizes to Ric Flair” main event didn’t hold people like “Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks in a Last Man Standing” match did.
Or maybe they got bored wondering if Enzo was gonna laid or beat up in that hotel room.
Either way, they steadily drifted away from Raw throughout the night...
Hour one: 3.153 million
Hour two: 2.981 million
Hour three: 2.796 million
WWE was third on the night, between a lackluster NFL game which only had 8 million viewers, and The O’Reilly Factor. In the 18 - 49 year old demographic, it was fourth - following Monday Night Football, Street Outlaws and Love & Hip-Hop.
Next week is the ‘go home’ show for Roadblock, and one week deeper into a Winter holiday season which typically takes more people away from their television sets.
