Unsurprisingly, Raw’s numbers were down on Dec. 26, the day after Christmas. The good news for WWE is that the 2,855,000 who tuned in wasn’t that big a drop from Dec. 19’s 2,955,000 viewers for the fallout show after the Roadblock: End of the Line pay-per-view (PPV).
The size of the audience dropped at the usual pace as things built to the latest iteration of Kevin Owens (with Chris Jericho) vs. Roman Reigns/Seth Rollins:
Hour one: 2.97 million
Hour two: 2.88 million
Hour three: 2.72 million
For the evening, Raw was fifth in total viewers and ratings share among the 18 - 49 demographic, against competition which included a Dallas Cowboys game on Monday Night Football that attracted a season-high audience 18.6 million.
Next week, WWE is promising Goldberg’s first appearance since the night after Survivor Series, and a Last Man Standing match between Sami Zayn and the star of the past couple weeks worth of Raws, Braun Strowman.
