WWE Raw ratings (Sept. 21, 2015): Viewers down for Night of Champions fallout show

WWE.com

Ouch.

Considering last night's episode of Monday Night Raw came the evening after a pay-per-view (PPV) event, this one Night of Champions, WWE could reasonably expect at least a slight bump in viewers. But that's not what happened.

Actually, they lost viewers from last week.

Indeed, Raw drew 3.34 million viewers, down from last week's 3.38 million. For what it's worth, Monday Night Football, a relatively bad game that saw the Jets beat down the Colts, drew over 12 million viewers for ESPN. The hourly breakdown shows a decrease in interest throughout the show:

Hour one: 3.42 million
Hour two: 3.36 million
Hour three: 3.26 million

That indicates fans weren't hooked by Kane's return (big surprise on that) nor were they all that intrigued by the Seth Rollins vs. John Cena United States championship rematch main event that was promoted early in the show.

Is it time for the Vince McMahon panic move just yet? After all, these are record low numbers for non-holiday shows in the three hour era.
