Despite missing its biggest stars, last week's episode of Monday Night Raw drew the highest viewership total of the summer, garnering 3.83 million viewers. One would think, then, that the return of Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, and John Cena, as well as the fact that it was the go home show to the SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV) this Sunday night in Brooklyn, would continue the upward momentum.
Nope.
Actually, the show was down to 3.78 million viewers. The hourly breakdown looks much the same as last week:
Hour one: 3.65 million
Hour two: 3.95 million
Hour three: 3.73 million
The second hour has all the heat and fans fade as the lengthy show reaches its conclusion. Still, the numbers are solid relative to rest of the summer.
