WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR JULY 13

BaconStrips here. Let's do this.

WWE Signature and a recap of Brock Lesnar's killing spree from last week's Raw.

________________________________________

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman come out to start this show, and the "Suplex City" chants are already ringing loud.

Paul Heyman introduces himself and gets right to business by introducing Brock Lesnar as a Cadillac crushing, J&J conquering beast that's gonna kill Seth Rollins at Battleground when he enters as a challenger (rare status there). Heyman talks about the other times that Brock Lesnar entered a ring as a challenger. The Rock, Randy Couture, and John Cena were victimized and conquered by The Beast.

Heyman says that Lesnar would still be champion today if it weren't for that rat bastard Seth Rollins. Paul Heyman begs us to watch Battleground as Lesnar will leave as a champion when Rollins gets brutally maimed and dismembered by BROCK LESNAR!!!

As Heyman goes on, Seth Rollins and Kane come out. Rollins and Kane eye the destroyed Cadillac before addressing Lesnar.

Rollins says that the Cadillac's destruction makes Lesnar proud. However, things will not be the same when Rollins wipes the smile off of Lesnar's face. Lesnar just laughs and eyes his prey as it reprimands him for the destruction of the Cadillac (and also Rollins' command of the English language).

Rollins says that Lesnar can parade the Cadillac all he wants, but Rollins has HIS symbol: the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins says that Lesnar is a thug and vandal, and he will take a trip to Suplex City and burn it to the ground.

"I can take you to Suplex City tonight, bitch" - Lesnar

Kane intervenes, telling both parties to calm themselves for an upcoming contract signing, and there will be no chaos tonight. Kane starts to threaten Lesnar, and Heyman tells Lesnar that they're being threatened by "the Undertaker's baby brother." A "baby brother" chant starts, and Heyman quells it by bringing up Brock Lesnar conquering The Streak. Heyman immediately sucks up and apologizes.

Heyman says that Lesnar will come to the contract signing with peace and love in his heart unless Rollins violates the 11th commandment: Thou shall not intentionally provoke Brock Lesnar. If so, Suplex City will thunder right into Atlanta

Randy Orton and Ryback vs Big Show and Sheamus

Hey, this is WWE's version of the MLB All-Star Game...keep that in mind. The Miz is on commentary for this as well.

This was a very generic tag match. Ryback got a hot tag and went to town until Miz start being Miz and started yelling at everyone. Ryback hits Sheamus with a Meat Hook and then goes after Big Show, who throws a KO Punch. Miz tries to take advantage, but is chased to the back by Show. Orton comes in and RKOs Sheamus, then Ryback finishes the job with a splash.

Backstage, Seth Rollins and Kane are worrying about the contract signing. Kane says that he has a plan, and Rollins is skeptical. Kane tells Rollins to shove his skepticism or one of them won't have a good night.

Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt

WAIT A MINUTE, ROMAN REIGNS IS BEHIND BRAY WYATT!!! Reigns absolutely brutalizes Wyatt, eventually landing a Superman Punch before Wyatt nails Reigns with the lantern.

So...no match after all, so let's move on

Team Bella comes out, and Nikki takes the mic. She talks about her 232 day reign as Divas Champion and taking no shortcuts and all that. She calls herself THE total diva.

She talks about Team Bella's dominance, saying that they make all the decisions and rule this division.

As she goes on, Stephanie McMahon comes out.

Steph rocks Nikki, saying that she owns WWE, and the company's legacy rests on her shoulders (including the women's division). There hasn't been a level of women's competition in WWE...

...until now.

Steph first introduces Paige, the woman who's been trying to make a difference. Nikki starts complaining a bit until Steph says that she WANTED Paige out here.

Steph says that Paige needs backup, and she hasn't had it UNTIL NOW!!!

STEPHANIE INTRODUCES BECKY LYNCH AND MY CAPS IS BROKEN!!!!

But wait, THERE'S MORE!!! STEPH INTRODUCES CHARLOTTE NEXT!!!

Paige, Becky, and Charlotte embrace and are interrupted by Naomi and Tamina...where does this go?

Steph introduces the next NXT woman: SASHA GODDAMN BANKS!!!

The gauntlet has been laid, and a "this is awesome" chant is ringing LOUDLY!!!

A brawl ensues with Charlotte, Becky, and Sasha eventually locking in their respective submissions. The Bellas are tossed out, and another staredown ensues with Paige, Becky, and Charlotte staring into the eyes of Naomi, Tamina, and Sasha.

The New Day vs The Primetime Players and Mark Henry

Before the match, The New Day rips Atlanta for shutting down due to one inch of snow as well as the Atlanta Hawks choking in the NBA Playoffs. They then vow to regain THEIR tag team championship at Battleground.

Again, this was another fairly generic tag match that we've mostly seen before. Henry got the hot tag this time and went to town. Some insanity ensued as people got hit with finishers and other stuff. Eventually Henry countered a Honor Roll from Xavier Woods and landed a World's Strongest Slam for the win.

King Barrett vs R-Truth

We've seen this before, and what do you know, Barrett loses again.

After the match, Truth reannoints himself as King What's Up

Kevin Owens vs Rusev vs Cesaro (#1 Contender for US Championship)

Before the match, Rusev calls himself the greatest US Championship ever, and he would have never lost his title if Lana never interfered. He vows to break John Cena.

Before Rusev enters the ring, Kevin Owens comes out. He says that he's gonna be the one to beat Cena for that title, so he's gonna take Cena on TONIGHT. Rusev insults Owens, and Owens just annihilates him on the mic before telling him to leave.

As the two argue, Cesaro comes out and gets in Cena's face. Owens, Cesaro, and Rusev argues until a brawl starts. Cesaro clears the ring as we go to a break.

An announcement is made: the winner of a #1 Contender triple threat will face John Cena tonight.

The triple threat portion of this match is pure awesome. All three men absolutely brought the best out of each other with some awesome three man spots. Eventually, Owens gets annoyed and walks out, making it Rusev/Cesaro.

Rusev and Cesaro has themselves a very long and physical match that featured some downright brutal and hard-hitting moves. Eventually, Rusev pulls Cesaro off the turnbuckle and delivers DAT KICK for the win.

John Cena vs Rusev (US Title)

Rusev, who has wrestled 30-35 minutes to this point, is up to face Cena now, and Cena definitely plays the heel here by running circles around Rusev and just smacking him around. Rusev plays possum and reverses an AA attempts into an Accolade. As Cena starts to pass out, Kevin Owens returns and kicks Rusev, causing a DQ.

Owens vows to take the US Title from Cena on Sunday. However, this is definitely not a singles match anymore...

Backstage, Kane and Seth Rollins finalize their plan for Brock Lesnar.

The competitors for Tough Enough stand onstage and LITA comes out

She hypes TE a bit before officially introducing the cast.

Stardust cuts a promo backstage about the world's heroes and villains before focusing on Neville. He says that the world's heroes will crash to the ground. A REALLY cool match graphic is shown.

Stardust vs Neville

Pretty short match here that has a few fast-paced moments. Stardust reverses a roll-up and leverages the tights to get the win.

Seth Rollins and Kane come down to the ring for the contract signing.

Rollins says that he's tired of watching the Cadillac being destroyed. Therefore, he shows the footage of him and The Authority bringing down Brock Lesnar.

After this, Seth Rollins says that he's not afraid of Brock Lesnar, and he vows to conquer the conqueror again and remain the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

At this moment, Brock Lesnar comes out and stalks his prey.

The two men take their seats, and Paul Heyman cuts a promo about him wanting to see someone destroy Rollins since he destroyed The Shield, and even moreso after Rollins stole the WWE WHC from Lesnar at WrestleMania. Everyone will be watching to see Rollins get his ass kicked, and we will get our money's worth when Rollins goes to Suplex City, BI.

Both men sign the contract, but Seth Rollins starts slipping his hand under the table. Heyman catches him and calls him out, but Rollins tries to talk his way out of it. Lesnar flips the table and reveals that an axe handle is stored underneath. He places the handle on the table and sits back down. After some moments, Lesnar attacks and opens Suplex City on Rollins until he is taken down by Kane.

Lesnar is subsequently beaten down by Kane and Rollins. Rollins sets up for a Pedigree on the steps, but Lesnar comes back and F5s Kane as Rollins runs away, leaving Kane to be murdered by Lesnar. Lesnar sets Kane's leg on the steps and slams the upper portion of the steps onto his ankle.

Lesnar enters the ring and holds the title high to end the show.

But wait, there's more. Rollins reenters the ring and says that he's better than Lesnar, and vows to beat him at Battleground. He exits the ring and starts berating Kane for his failed plan, sayings that it's on him after a bunch of insults. He then stomps Kane for good measure
