It's been a little while since we were graced with guest stars/hosts on Raw, but we're getting some next week for the 'go home' show for Elimination Chamber.
The cast of the HBO series-turned-major motion picture Entourage will be on the May 25th edition of WWE's flagship show. Unfortunately, Jeremy "SummerFest" Piven - who plays agent Ari Gold on the show/flick - will not be one of the guests.
Here's WWE's announcement:
Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara, cast members from the upcoming movie, Entourage, will guest star live on Monday Night Raw, Monday, May 25 at 8/7C on USA Network.
Entourage, the much-anticipated, big-screen version of the award-winning hit HBO series, reunites the hit show's original cast, led by Connolly, Grenier, Dillon, Ferrara and Jeremy Piven. Movie star Vincent Chase (Grenier), together with his boys, Eric (Connolly), Turtle (Ferrara) and Johnny (Dillon), are back...and back in business with super agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold (Piven). Some of their ambitions have changed, but the bond between them remains strong as they navigate the capricious and often cutthroat world of Hollywood.
Monday Night Raw is the longest-running, weekly episodic program in U.S. primetime TV history and is the most-watched, regularly scheduled programs on cable, airing live every Monday night on USA Network. Each week, it is rated one of the most socially active shows on cable television and continues to be a "must-stop" for celebrities to reach WWE's TV audience and its nearly half a billion social media followers.
Will they be thought of in the same vein as Jon Stewart & Hugh Jackman or are they the next Kathie Lee & Hoda? We'll find out next week!
