WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR APRIL 6
BaconStrips here. Let's do this

WWE Signature and Raw intro. The NXT mark in me is happy that Neville has a spot in the Raw intro vid.
Your announce team tonight is JBL, Byron Saxton, and Booker T.

Seth Rollins, Kane, Big Show, and J&J Security.
Rollins starts talking, and the crowd starts booing loudly. Rollins is finally able to give some well wishes to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, who are on "vacation" this week.
The "you sold out" chants start ringing. Seth's response? "I really really thought we were over this, guys"
The biggest takeaway from WrestleMania? The Authority ALWAYS wins, and it definitely shows. Triple H defeated Sting, Big Show won the Andre Battle Royal, and Kane was there.
Big Show takes the mic from Rollins and starts proclaiming himself as the greatest giant of all time, and everyone else is under his shadow. He then puts over Seth Rollins as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Seth proclaims himself as the future of WWE. Kane takes the mic starts talking until he is interrupted by one insanely over Randy Orton.
Orton congratulates Rollins on his WrestleMania moment, but it doesn't change the fact that Orton beat Rollins by way of a spectacular RKO.
Rollins complains about Orton complaining, and Orton responds by saying that he deserves to beat Rollins for the WWE WHC. Orton asks Kane about said match before taunting him a bit, causing Kane to have an outburst.
Kane recognizes Orton's desire to take on Rollins. However, there are others that are worthy for a title match. Therefore, there will be a triple threat match involving Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and Ryback.
But wait, there's more! All three members of the triple threat match will be in singles action before the triple threat.

Randy Orton vs Kane
Below-average match that ends with a DQ due to a chairshot because reasons.
Randy Orton def Kane by DQ
After the match, Kane tries to chokeslam Orton on a chair, but Orton moves away and tries to RKO Kane, but Kane escapes and runs away.

The announce team addresses AJ Lee's retirement...thank you AJ
Backstage, Brad Maddox (!) is talking to Kane when Kane starts going off on him. Seth Rollins starts bashing Kane for not protecting him enough. Kane reminds Rollins of what he did for him at Money in the Bank, but he also addresses the whole "best for business" thing. Kane accuses Rollins of being scared of Orton. Rollins responds by telling Kane that he should step down. Kane responds by making a match between Rollins and someone.

Seth Rollins vs NEVILLE
I'M MARKING OUT
This was an excellent back-and-forth match that went much differently than you would expect. Instead of being an insanely fast-paced affair, this was a grueling, slower paced match that showed that both men could believably work a longer paced match. Rollins got the win with the curb stomp.
Seth Rollins def Neville
After the match, Rollins gives Neville another curb stomp before standing over him with the WWE WHC.

John Cena vs Stardust (US Championship)
Before the match, Cena cuts pretty much the same promo that he did last week: he's a proud representative of the US, and he'll defend the title against anyone and come get some and whatever else.
This was another excellent back-and-forth match that went a good long time. Stardust was awesome, and Cena busted out some rarely-used moves. Cena got the win after an AA.
John Cena def Stardust
More please

The Bellas Twins vs Paige & Naomi
This was a decent match albeit a bit sloppy. Naomi and Paige get the win after Naomi hits Nikki with the headscissors DDT.
Paige/Naomi def The Bella Twins

The Prime Time Players cut a promo mocking The New Day and The Ascension.
________________________________________
Luke Harper vs Ryback
Ryback gets the win after a short, underwhelming hoss fight.
Ryback def Luke Harper

Renee Young interviews The New Day. She addresses the audience's hate toward New Day, and they say that it's disappointing, but they won't disappoint. They also do their clapping thing because either they clap or they snap...I don't get it
________________________________________
The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) vs Lucha Dragons
Another quick match that sees the Lucha Dragons get a quick win over New day. It should be noted that New Day was definitely working heel here, with Kofi Kingston trying a cheap shot on Kalisto, but it didn't work.
Kalisto is still awesome.
Lucha Dragons def The New Day
The Brass Ring Club was in Big E position for this...hint hint
________________________________________
Roman Reigns vs Big Show
You've seen this one before. Big Show dominates for most of the match, but Reigns comes back with some Superman Punches and the spear for the win.
Roman Reigns def Big Show
Can we get some fresh matches for Roman now?
________________________________________
Backstage, Kane is checking in with HHH and Stephanie when Summer Rae, Alicia Fox, Cameron, and Natalya come in. They ask him to give the Divas a battle royal to determine the #1 contender to the title, and he accepts.
Kane's head is about to explode.

Renee Young interviews Roman Reigns. He tells us to wait and see what he does next.
________________________________________
Sheamus vs Mark Henry
Before the match, Sheamus tells us to appreciate what a real man looks like. The crowd responds by chanting "you look stupid." He then goes on to bury Dolph Ziggler as a worthless underdog that needs weeded out. He address people who tell him to pick on people his own size, saying that there aren't many people his size...then Mark Henry comes out...
This is a hoss fight, and an average one at that. Although Henry gets some offense in, Sheamus mainly dominates and wins with a Brogue Kick.
Sheamus def Mark Henry
________________________________________
Daniel Bryan/Dolph Ziggler vs Sheamus/Bad News Barrett is announced for SmackDown.
Bray Wyatt cuts a new mystery promo against someone and their drive for success and fear of failure. Behold the new face of fear. "Do I have your attention now?"
Renee Young interviews Ryback about his upcoming match. Ryback gets a cheap pop and proclaims himself the big guy in this match, and The Big Guy is hungry.
________________________________________
The Miz vs Damien Mizdow
This was a decent match that was more of a brawl than anything else. Both men worked fairly stiff against each other and worked the crowd well. The Miz got the win after rolling Mizdow up while using the tights.
The Miz def Damien Mizdow
________________________________________
Renee Young interviews Randy Orton about the upcoming triple threat match. To keep it short, Orton says that he's gonna mow down anyone who gets in his way.

Randy Orton vs Roman Reigns vs Ryback (#1 Contender's Match)
Funny how all three men involved have names that start with "R"
As you would expect, this was a complete mess of a match. The Authority came out about halfway through and eventually interjected themselves into the match, Big Show KO'd Reigns, and J&J Security distracted Ryback enough so Orton could hit the RKO for the win.
Randy Orton def Roman Reigns and Ryback.
Immediately after the bell, Rollins curb stomps Orton to end the show.
